Pretty sure we only know the WWs are sentient and intelligent, with the NK being the smartest one, having full resurrection and converting powers. We aren't sure the full extent of their intellect.

I'm curious about the NK/Bran contact and what it means. Kind of reminds me of the confusing Hodor feedback loop.

She said they would get married after the war was won.

No way in hell Cersei goes through with that wedding and he's an idiot for believing she ever would.

Especially now if she's pregnant with Jaimie's kid. Wouldn't that put a damper on his enthusiasm for wanting to marry her?

So you think Dany is immune to fire but her dragons aren't. Not to mention that after Drogo kills her brother she says "fire can't kill a dragon"

"The" dragon, she said. A human metaphor. She was pointing out that she's the dragon, not Vicerys.

It seems he's suggesting that once the dragon dies they are no longer immune to fire which goes against every rpg ever made. Seriously you've never made dragonscale armor bro?

Would love to have seen the look on his face when someone asked him about this.

Seriously, reminds me of this old SNL skit with William Shatner

Even if it were true, what kind of superpower is warging into the handle of a sword?

Is Brann really the Night King?

for sure

Also there's a reference somewhere to "Brann the builder" who created the wall, which is unlikely to be a coincidence

I'm just suggesting this is why the dopey showrunners had the dragon fall into a lake. It's probably more like, whoah, cool, we can have the dragon drop into a lake, that would look awesome!

Shatner is awesome. Ever see his rendition of rocket man?

What determines whether someone gets resurrected as a white walker or a wight? Is it how decayed their corpses were, or are Walkers created by some other process? Recall the Night King turning a baby into a walker way back. Maybe only he can create Walkers?

The NK can reanimate the corpses of humans and animals into wights. He can also turn living babies into white walkers(we have seen this happen in one instance with Crastors son, presumably he was turning all his sons into white walkers). There has been no evidence that he's able to turn corpses or living adults into white walkers. Leaf was able to create the NK by pressing dragon glass into his chest when he was one of the First Men. We are unsure if anyone else could create whitewalkers the same way or not.

I forget - what exactly did Benjen tell Bran about how the CotF saved him? I recall he was in the process of turning into something and they saved him, so he's kind of half-dead and restricted by the same magic as the undead.

Bran is definitely not the Night King.

I also don't think Bran is Bran the Builder. But at least that theory has slightly more plausibility.

This brings up the question: What exactly is Viserion?

He was definitely dead, so that puts him in the category of the wights, who are your garden variety undead (rotted remains of dead people raised by WWs).

On the other hand, his eyes turned blue, like the WWs and Craster's baby.

This seems significant because he can then presumably be killed by dragonglass.

Some of the non-WW undead have blue eyes too. In fact in that episode it was pointed out that the bear had blue eyes.

My first take on the the hound freezing at the sight of the undead firey bear was that Thoros had to step in and sacrifice himself to save the hound. The angel he stepped into the camera from made it appear he was lunging in front of the charging attack and then the reaction shot of the hound when he see's his bud getting gut mauled, thought it was gonna be some turning point of the hound letting go and getting all the way into the fight

Here's hoping the end of the episode will be the wall crumbling or WW army going over

4) Agree that Arya is probably playing a role against Sansa so Littlefinger doesn't catch on, or so she could take him down. She just seems much smarter than she's acting. Side note: I'm trying to determine who would be the coolest person for Arya to become, but it's a tough one. Cersei maybe?
Is there more to book arya that has the show runners making such seemingly odd character decision throughout her arc? Not just contrasting but it comes off as bad story telling both in the Faceless man house and now back at winterfell

Viserion is a wight. Wights have blue eyes as well(if they still have eyes).

Arya is definitely acting, I think there was a reason to show her admiring the actress she was sent to murder in Braavos.

It would be pretty weird for the White Walker army of ice to have a fire-breathing dragon, I'm sure it breathes ice/cone of cold.

She did not say "Fire cannot kill the dragon."
