I think a backstory episode on the white walkers would be good right about now.

Guy gets stabbed by magic children; becomes zombie. Walks around going uuuuuurgh. A few people get killed by zombie; they become zombies. Wander around saying uuuuuurgh. More people get killed by zombies, become zombies. Wander around saying uuuuurgh. Repeat a few times. Entire community wiped out by zombies, all become zombies. Wander around saying uuuuuuurgh.

Seems like this could be covered in a short scene tbh.

Yeah an episode would be a bit much but some more info on the Night King would be nice. He has to want something more than just kill everything.

Yeah, I want to know what they want - the Iron Throne? Or will they go back North when they are done doing whatever they plan to do.

Also, I remember the scene with the Children of the Forrest stabbing one and creating one - but then I thought the CotF and the First Men united to fight the white walkers. So the CotF created one but they can't reproduce apparently so they grew their population by just converting babies?

They have a lot of prequel potential for movies with this if they ever want the $

CotF created Night King. NK creates Wights via resurrection of dead and creates White Walkers from living beings (maybe just babies?). That seems to be what we know so far.

We got a small glimpse of their backstory when Brann was up north of the wall.

Essentially the Children of the Forest created them at some point in the distant past and then lost control of them.

There really isn't anything interesting about them to me, they're essentially a black magic biological weapon that spun out of control.

I agree with the no theories rule

Holy ****! Some leaked scenes have made it on to youtube with *******s not filtering their title. I may have been spoiled for something major. Saw the title and was like wtf and immediately closed my browser. Be careful clicking links on youtube.

THEORY!

Why don't they just fly the dragons to wherever the White Walker army is and incinerate it?
08-15-2017 , 06:21 PM
or scoop one up and drop it in Cersei's lap

shouldn't take more than a few minutes

Damn, thanks for the heads up.
As someone who spends too much time on youtube, I'll stick to my subscription feed for now.

Seriously. I know they're saving the dragons vs. the undead army as one of hte big grand finale moments, but they will need to gin up some sort of reason for it to have tension.

Given what we've seen the 3 dragons would be able to completely demolish the entire undead army very quickly. The undead army has no real technology or advanced tactics, just numbers.

If I were Dany, I don't think I'd just fly out with my dragons to take on the undead army alone. First, it's not 100% sure that Jon is telling the truth. Second, even if he is, you have no idea about the strength of the army and what it can do. For all she knows, it could have anti-dragon capabilities - i.e. snow magic, flying dead creatures (we know they can resurrect horses, so why not eagles, etc.). Sure dragons are super-weapons, but they're not invincible and I don't think it's wise to take on an unknown enemy without some scouting and backup.

As an example, imagine if she had taken on the Lannister/Tyrell army by herself (and that was a fairly known army), the giant crossbow may not have killed Drogon, but without the Dothraki, she would likely have been killed/captured.

the next episode has been leaked... i don't plan on watching and am pretty good at avoiding spoilers so still plan to wait, but everyone else beware.

HBO should have just aired/released the entire season once they were hacked. I guess they are hoping people won't binge and cancel their subscriptions.

But we saw the whitewalker king dude disperse those crows Bran was controlling.

Maybe he could do the same vs the dragons.

Is the next leaked episode good quality? I remember a few seasons ago the first 3 episodes of the season leaked a few weeks before the season began and the quality of them was absolute crap... I caved and watched them all anyway.

damn you shouldn't post that things are leaked here, I don't have the self control to not watch it prior to sunday
08-16-2017 , 12:58 AM
Not sure it's actually leaked? Some guy was broadcasting it on Twitch from what I heard and they shut it down after 20 minutes. A search for S07E06 on TPB turns up nada.

It's leaked and 20 minutes on twitch is proof. I'm not sure how widespread it will be or how easy it will be to find, I imagine it will be easy soon. There really isn't a way to prevent it at this point.

Edit: Sounds like it was actually aired in Spain, and might be limited to the first hour (not sure how long the episode goes), I guess we should know more soon.

On the plus side, 4 people were arrested for leaking episode 4 and should face the sword soon.

Or maybe he could just directly control them. There's reason to think he's stronger than Bran, and maybe the equal of the old three eyed raven, who had to hide from him.

HBO Spain just aired the entire ep early. Link does not contain spoilers.

I found it but am passing on watching it. The video quality is bad, but the audio is absolutely terrible. It's like mono out of one speaker. There's also an orange logo thing on the side.

Pretty much unwatchable if you want to enjoy it in any way.
