I knew the speech. I just didn't hear the words the first time.

I'm so ashamed of myself, sir. Again, my apologies for not being awesome at TV.

I am a very average TV watcher who has a very average ability to remember the iconic catchphrase of character defining monologues set to montage which is then repeated all the time as a meme.

Again just because you are in the ditch does not make everyone not in the ditch elite.
Don't you have some totemic character traits to go study?

On the phone talking about the episode with my mom who is a pretty standard GoT fan, she says "Oh and Littlefinger looking like death when Bran said his chaos is a ladder line was so good!".

99.99%? "LOL" bro a 60 year old supercasual both had no problem understanding what Bran said and the implication.

And you have 100 posts in a GoT online thread!

on second viewing, I'm now in the "Kate Moss is an adder" camp

I just had the complete opposite experience. Was talking about the episode with a friend and he mentioned (without prompting) how he had to rewind four times before he was able to understand that line.

I wonder if Ed Sheeran heard it on first viewing.

Anyone who had to watch it 4 times literally has to have a learning disability.

Was pretty 100% positive Jaimie was about to go, would have been the perfect way for his character to go out.

No way Jaime is dead of course, they're setting him up for a dramatic reappearance, possibly in King's Landing telling Cersei they are foo'bared and should surrender or something.

People not hearing the Chaos Is a Ladder thing is pretty hilarious but apparently I completely missed Davos' fewer line, so woosh.

I also thought we were gonna get a Bronn/Dragon double kill, he kills the dragon and it blasts him in the process.

in b4 Jamie and bron are taken as hostages and then turned into true believers and are now on team fight the dead. Ending up in an epic showdown were Jamie kills his sister and bron becomes the true azorohigh.

Spoiler.....

Half this will be true

damn thats a dope scene haha, had to look on youtube for it.

Seriously, the Chaos is a Ladder scene is one of the most memorable and poignant in the series.

As much as I liked the episode Jamie not dying in that perfect way and instead being part of a cliche cliff hanger is a huge letdown and alone made the ep not GOAT. Add in the predictible terribleness with the sniping Scorpion and the ep lands in the solid good territory, maybe 8th.

Lol at huge douches feeling superior because they remember something from season 3.
I had subtitles so I know what bran said and knew right away it was a LF quote but I have no memory of the iconic speech.

I assume the next time we see him he'll be getting pulled out of a river and subjected to a stern lecture from dany. Probably early in the next ep.

But yeah I think Jaime trying to talk sense to Cersei and then being forced to queenslay her is the most likely outcome

I assume its connected to Blackwater Bay and is something like a river or stream (never heard the term Rush before as it relates to water, but makes sense given that Tarly mentioned they needed to cross it).

I was debating telling him that he's lost all his GOT internet credibility, but he already thinks I'm a big enough GOT nerd without knowing I post about it on a message board.
