No need to appologize. I can assure you 99.99% of GOT viewers had no idea wtf Bran was talking about. LOL at the smarty pants who claim they knew that chaos is a ladder was referring to an innocuous speech made by Littlefinger 4 YEARS AGO. First thing that came to their minds RIIIIIGHT.

Yeah, i couldn't figure out what Tyrion was saying either.

Lol at the nits complaining about the dragon being shot.

Goulash in my bladder.

Does anyone know what Arya said when asked who taught her how to fight? It sounded like "know won" but there was really no way to tell.

Lol at calling that speech innocuous, loool just loool.

Chaos is a ladder is totemic to Littlefinger and sums up his whole character and motivation in one line. Its been absolutely concretely linked to him ever since his monologue on the issue.

Please revisit the scene and then try and defend your innocuous claim.

Pretty sure Pete was trolling.
08-07-2017 , 02:44 PM
Wait. Some of you don't rewatch the entire series before each new season? You're doing it wrong.

Also, that Lf speech is probably his most iconic moment in the show.

Was anyone else freaking out watching Dany / Drogon fly into battle and **** **** up? We've waited years for this. Think I yelled a few times.

LOL totemic. The average viewer forgot the exact wording of that speech 5 minutes after it happened. LOL anyone acting like it's strange that it wouldn't immediately pop into everyone's head at the mere utterance of the word "chaos" 5 years later.

Add me to the "super obvious" group that also immediately recognized the callback. I'm baffled that the deaf in this thread are getting so butthurt about it.

Lot of deaf mofos up in here

I am afraid it's just you, and you should not extrapolate "average" from your own failings.

I admit to not remembering the exact wording, but you know the chaos is a ladder bit, which also becomes one of the biggest meme's of the show, stood out. Lol at having to remember the exact wording to remember chaos is a ladder.

I thought she asked, "Who bought you those tights?"

She said "No One". After Brienne and the Hound's battle where the Hound was critically injured and assumed to be dying, Arya traveled to Braavos to see Jaqen H'ghar the Faceless Man. There he along with the Waif trained her to be No One, an elite assassin. This was a callback to season 5.

I can't tell who is trolling whom anymore

Seriously, where did Arya learn to fight like that? I'm not having this "no one" bollocks - she must have had some training from someone??

My money is on The Hound.

Add me to the easy to hear and easy to recall camp.

Great episode!

Was anyone else positive Arya was going to make up her mind to leave Winterfell for some dumb reason during her final approach? When the guards turned around and she was gone I sighed heavily. Thank god dumb and dumber were just ****ing with us.

Looks like Jon is warming up to Dany's insistence that he bend the knee. Hopefully it turns into a marriage proposal before it comes to servitude. After all, incest IS the main theme of the show

I seriously doubt she could learn all of that from a dog. I do remember her training with cats though.

Her mother is dead and didn't know how to fight
08-07-2017 , 03:25 PM
Lol!! Nah, I was talking about The Hound - the one who nearly died and then got brought back to life as "The Mountain".

I really liked the Dany/Jon scene in the cave. Its cool how hes facing the same dilemma that Mance faced with Stannis and Dany even said the same things he said to Mance.

She was asking Brienne about Korean currency conversion, duh.

Now that was an elite episode!

Hahaha, my own failings? Gtfo. Obviously it's not just me or multiple threads wouldn't have been blowing up with this convo before I ever got here. Congrats on being such an elite TV watcher though bro.

[ ] Multiple threads blowing up.

I am a very average TV watcher who has a very average ability to remember the iconic catchphrase of character defining monologues set to montage which is then repeated all the time as a meme.

Again just because you are in the ditch does not make everyone not in the ditch elite.
