I don't think he can mind control people, except for Hodor. He's not demonstrated it on anyone else, and the rest of the group assumed it worked on Hodor as he was a bit simple.

I also don't think he knows everything that is going to happen, he hasn't really shown it. The old three eyed raven knew when he was going to die, but even that can't have been too clear, or he couldn't at least explained to Bran why it was dangerous to look around by himself.

"Chaos is a ladder" clearly indicates Bran knows what's up with Littlefinger.

yeah they shouldve just written bran off the storyline

guy has a big nose now and looks a year older than he should

Thought they recast as best they could but that was all they could do because he was crucial to the plot somehow.

Still doesn't change my view though, when kids go through puberty on a show and completely change I feel like they should take the LOST approach and just side line him like they did with Walt.
This is so weird. I don't know why you're so tilted by a kid changing from like ages 9 to 16

I am a bit lost about the whole 3 eyed raven stuff. The girl who dragged him back south's reaction kind of reflected my own when she was like "Is that it? I've dragged your ass 2,000 miles, fighting skeletons, lost my brother, you lost your wolf and Hodor and we aren't even getting a hint of what it was all for?"

Only her brother seemed to even have a clue what the 3 eyed raven was. It's not like dragons, white walkers etc where even if people didn't believe them they'd at least heard tales.

It's like he knows but he's got so much **** flying through his mind now that he doesn't even give a **** about Littlefinger's bull**** plotting.

But doesn't Brandon know that LF betrayed his father resulting in his execution? Maybe he's waiting to tell Jon Snow instead of telling Sansa?

I think that was intentional. Meera bitching at Bran was supposed to show awareness of the absurdity of Bran's character

Watched the bran scene several times and couldn't make it out either until I read it here. LF was obviously shook though and it was awesome.

Pretty sure most of the Lannister/Tarly army should be dead. Right before the battle, Randall Tarly tells Jon that (1) all the gold is through the gates and (2) they need to get the rest of the army over the blackwater rush as the army if the head of the army is ambushed, the tail won't be able to reinforce in time (Jaime then mentions that the army is stretched pretty thin).

Thus, it's clear that only the gold has reached KLs (likely with a vanguard of cavalry) but the rest of the army is still on the road. While Dany only attacks the rear of the army, the Dothraki should be able to ride down the rest pretty easily before they can escape back to KL.

Also, I'm assuming that Jaime falls into the Blackwater Rush which explains why its so deep.

Finally, it's definitely Bron that pushes him. In the prior scene we see Bron avoid the dragon fire and then spot a white horse. The rider that saves Jaime is riding a very similar looking white horse.

Of all the baffling and laughable things you guys have itt throughout the years, several people not being able to understand that Bran said "chaos is a ladder" might take the cake.

Lol ... it is kinda funny tho how much less cute teenage bran is than when the show started. It doesn't really matter since his character turns into such a weirdo, but imagine if he was supposed to grow into a real hearthrob or something, then his awkard years hit like BLAM

You think Bran has seen Rickon's death and knows to tell whoever is pushing his wheelchair to zigzag if the time comes?

No, he mumbled the **** out of it. I had to rewind it a couple of times to understand it myself.

Neither Mrs. T nor I were able to make this language out, and we spun it back several times because it was clear that it was important.

before I open the spoiler thread, is it just discussion of episode 4? or have there been more episodes/stuff leaked?
08-07-2017 , 11:22 AM
I don't get how some of you can't make it out, even after several listens. Had you guys completely forgotten LF's epic Chaos is a Ladder speech from Season 3 or something?
08-07-2017 , 11:23 AM
itt I realize having captions on for GoT was a good idea
08-07-2017 , 11:29 AM
Yea.. subtitles are a must.

There's a making of video on HBO Now for the loot train attack. Pretty cool stuff. They set a group of twenty stuntmen on fire at once.

So most in here think Jamie lives? There is a dragon right above the water he is in full armor sinking in the water. Not sure how deep it is but how can they not have him die there
08-07-2017 , 11:52 AM
Bronn or hillbilly guy pulls him out? It would be a pretty lame way to kill him off.
