Great episode, I didn't understand why Arya is able to use other people's faces though, or how Varys got back home so quick and was on the ship, but whatever I can look past that.

Hate to nit up though, but didn't Olenna go back to Highgarden? Which meant that she found out about her families deaths, hightailed it to Dorne and made an alliance with the Snakes before the sept stopped burning. And Varys is no slouch either, meeting them in Dorne and getting his ass back to Mereen in time for departure in the same timeframe. And wasn't Arya wearing the face of one of the girls that Bronn, erm, entertained?
We don't know the time span between the explosion and her alliance w Dorne. I believe it was Arya's intention to seduce Jamie to kill him.

Yeah, there was some serious location jumping.

I think Arya was the first hot girl that was looking at Jaime, then there were two more behind Bronn.

i mean, we can presume that it was weeks later when olenna was meeting in dorne i guess. i missed varys too.

and i dont get the faces either. doesnt someone need to be dead for their face to be used? so did arya off that servant?

More thoughts!

So glad that Cersei offed all the dead weights and have now emerged as the top dog villain of the entire series. We finally got our answer and she fits that role like a glove. Truly phenomenal, I can't wait for next season. Never been this hyped for a returning season, not for Breaking Bad, Lost, ever.

This finale was just 72 minutes of nothing but win. Without question the best finale of any series in history.

I would like to hear some theories on LF's next move. He doesn't seem content with the current situation.

Finale scored a perfect 10 again on IMDB. Battle of the Bastards at 96K+ votes now and still at perfect 10. Incredible. I actually loved this episode more than BotB. Just great great stuff.

Another boring season finale following the episode 9 excitement...

..

Well, all THAT was certainly unexpected.

Many of those things you saw coming eventually, but gosh that was a **** load all at once.

Where to even start. Destroying all the Sparrows and the Tyrells in one fell swoop, f'ing brilliant. Tommen taking that bitch dive was great, that whole f'ing situation was due to his ineptness and all around idiocy.

Seeing that nun lady get what was coming to her, on baby. I guess the implication was that the Mountain was gonna rape her?

We finally learn the worst kept secret in the world about Jon. Will he take the name Jon Stark now? Being the new king and all.

What was the implication with LF and Sansa at the end?

It's sorta clear where the series is heading to wrap up IMO

Spoiler:
Dany conquers Westeros, except the North, it looks like Dany and Jon will fight, but the invading undead army will force them to unite (in marriage LDO) to defeat them. Jon and Danny rule as Tygeran king and queen, there's your song of Ice and Fire.

RIP tonight to 2 of my favorite dumb GoT Theories:

1) R+L = J+M
2) Howland = Sparrow

arya has had a kill list for multiple seasons, with walder frey near the top due to the red wedding.

the reason she went to braavos was to train to be an assassin for the very purpose of killing people like frey. cersei's on tap. she better wrap up any queenly business in the first couple episodes.

I was totally caught off guard by the Arya thing. It was clear that chick was gonna off Frey, but for some reason I was lulled into thinking Jaime put her up to it or something, it wasn't until the face reach I was like...

*Gene Parmesan reaction*

My read is that she had now completed enough training with them to now know how to use them properly, and probably took a few faces with her for the road.

I almost forgot that Kevan Lannister (who was acting as hand) was also in the church.

Cersei somewhat cold blooded I would say.

ps: i dont think they actually need to "bring" the faces, but who knows.

My prediction, which ties into my theory I spoiler tagged...

Spoiler:
After Dany lands and begins conquering, he'll drop his pursuit of Sansa like a hot potato and immediately start angling to land Dany as his wife.

Whoa, I did not assume rape but the Mountain was a sick **** before becoming Zombie Mountain so all bets are off. I just figured he was gonna get his pliers and blow torch and go to work.

Well, they were all still calling him Snow. So probably not.

That was Sansa realizing Jon is now in great danger because he is in LF's way, and she is aware of what he is capable of...at least that's how I saw it.

Holy crap, totally forgot about this. When Mellisandre first met Arya, she looked into Arya's eyes and said "I see a darkness in you, we will meet again." Mellisandre's story is not over and she couldn't have been executed yet.

I thought it was pretty clear that the Mountain will be raping the nun repeatedly, in perpetuity.

It kind of seems to me like they're building towards Ned Stark being something of a "bad guy." Every key flashback as seen through Bran takes Ned's reputation down a notch (at least if you interpret the scene between him and his sister as making it fairly clear that she wasn't abducted, which I do). I'm very interested to see how Bran will react to his knowledge and to what degree he will share it. I really believe we will continue to learn negative or at least highly problematic things about Ned Stark.

That's how I read it too. I mean there may be tortures besides that, but she's this supposedly devout nun, getting raped by a 400 lb zombie man every day, has to be the most hellish torture. That's also why Cersei was doing the "shame, shame, shame" thing so gleefully too.

Those ****ers really managed to turn that abomination of a season around in 2 episodes

Also even significantly stronger EP than last week
