Tough Sell for them to back Stark. The Islands sided with the Dragons or atleast not with Roberts Rebellion ( hence why Theon was a ward) and would be more on Dannys side then Stark.
So in that light sending ships across to her and her army makes sense..considering that her other ships were just reduced to timber.

Iirc the Iron Islands sat out Robert's Rebellion and didn't declare for either side - and then opportunistically used the chaos as a cover for their own attack on the Westeros mainland.

Daenerys taking her time, I really hope she'll start moving within a couple of episodes, it's starting to be pretty boring whenever it cuts to the East. I feel like the potential over there is used up and now every little side quest (like the Dothraki thing unless it turns out to cause A LOT (I know it's setting up to it)) seems pretty abundant. Good thing she has boobs.

Looking forward to seeing the whole Theon/Sansa etc. thing play out, it annoys me greatly that Euron has dissappeared because a) he seemed like he'd do goods for the dynamic of the otherwise extreme tedious Iron Isles storyline and b) he's Danish #GOAT and c) I've been told I look like Pilou Asbæk a million times so when he conquers the world and is the next big thing (i.e. Dane #2 to make all the women of the world wet) I, too, can bathe in his fame.

Also excited to see something happen in King's Landing (hopefully). It's been pretty quiet and boring for a while there and has been, more or less, all about Cersei and the whole religious cult thing, and it gets tedious, it's been the same thing for too long; Cersei being a bitch and wanting to rule but not able to, Tommen being THE straw-man king not doing anything and poor character development (he's too shallow of a character and seems like a mere placeholder until some new king/queen conquers the throne) is also pretty boring and lengthy.

Anyone else get a creepy incest vibe from Sansa and Jon snow? They way she was looking at him and touching his hand just felt really awkward, like she realizes he's not blood and wants it. Maybe it was just me.

Also Sansa was just crying about passing a river to escape the boltons crew knowing damn well what Ramsay would do to her if they caught her than suddenly she's ready to march back herself to wage a war. I get her character development was in play for awhile now but it seriously felt far too dramatic of a change on screen from what we're used to. Oh well I hope she finally grows some balls and get **** done.

The wildlings + random north armies vs boltons/karstarks should be pretty sweet and the fact that daenerys now commands a 100k+ army who would probably jump in the fire with her gets me hella hyped to see what crazy damage she can do. No doubt we have another season or two of her trying to abolish slavery in the dothraki community and random politics.

Another prediction I have that may be way off is that davos is actually the one who resurrected Jon snow. He mentioned to the red women that she made him believe in that magic, and he was also the last one to leave the room/gave Jon a look/perhaps prayer. If that's the case it brings purpose to his character.

Does anyone doubt the red women tho? She's done crazy magic and has seen the future from the flames, I think she's legit but is the lord of light a type of god that's looking for peace after all?


Since the first few seasons I've felt like maybe the white walkers are actually the good guys some how. Probably impossible but at this point that's the team I'm rooting for until something more interesting happens.

This show is becoming a bit samey. We've seen Dany walk through the flames to subjugate the Dothraki before; this was just on a larger scale. Winterfell and King's Landing are again coming under attack. There's not much sense of overall direction, just recycling of previous storylines.
