Yea seriously, the dragons need to start holding it down.

They should at least check in with the two Tyrion just released and one would assume they are causing a ruckus.

Everything I posted is either from the show or the HBO extras ("History and Lore of Westeros"). I'm pretty sure that these were ruled ok to view/post about. There are about 10 History and Lore episodes on Robert's Rebellion that give a pretty in depth summary.

Why did Tyrion just release the dragons and walk out with the door open? Doesn't he realize that they likely won't stick around at his beck and call? Won't they simply do dragony things and start killing people, or go try to find their mother and brother instead? Maybe Tyrion should have spent a little more time with them to try to get in their good graces first?

the dragons seemingly are still trapped in that room just not chained up, they turned around to go eat

probably "had" to be chained up so others could feed them safely
05-08-2016 , 03:59 PM
he was releasing them I thought, they can find their own food. Wasn`t the point to get them out of captivity? I assume there is a larger exit that we did not see on screen, I doubt they could fit through that door at the top of the stairs anyway.

I understood that Tyrion released them so they can eat, grow strong, and ultimately help Dany regain control of Slaver's Bay.
05-08-2016 , 04:35 PM
That's what I got from the speech he gave.
05-08-2016 , 05:13 PM
seems like if they were "released" they would have been shown escaping

plus there was zero light in the room when the door closed
05-08-2016 , 05:30 PM
maybe they'll show it tonight? And if you think its just a "room" that explains why you think light being shown makes any difference

It doesn't seem like there is another exit. In the scene where Dany leads them down there and locks them up, she uses that same door. When she leaves and rolls the stone back in front of the door, it shows the room getting pitch black.

That said, they don't show whether Tyrion/Varys close the door when they leave, so maybe they do leave it open for the dragons to leave and get food.

They are DVD extras. I think they are all on youtube as well. Don't think they are On Demand (I have never been able to find them that way).

I think you can watch them on HBO go

This is getting ridiculous. Literally nothing happened this episode. They could have skipped it entirely and lost nothing.

What happened during the scene with Ned? I was interrupted. Who was he fighting and so on.

Some knights loyal to Rhaegar. Apparently Ned's sister was being held in that tower. I thought the head guy was Mance at first due to the quote he used but can't be since he was killed right there.

he was fighting the two targaryen guards who were presumably supposed to kill on sight anyone trying to get to ned's sister

you also heard her wailing after he won the fight, indicating either that she is in labor or she's being attacked

Lol wat?

Everything but Dany/Samwell advanced a ton.

Oh, okay. I'm on vacation and everyone around me was being really loud during that scene in particular. I'll watch it all again when I get home.
05-08-2016 , 10:21 PM
the scene with Bran at the tower was interesting - looks like honorable Ned not so honorable regarding the fight.

I like Umber even though he killed Rickon's direwolf

One was Arthur Dayne, a member of the Kingsguard (Joffrey read about him from the book of the Kingsguard in the scene where he is mocking Jamie). I would assume the other is also a member of the Kingsguard, but they don't mention who he was.

at this point, if we never see Khaleesi again, would you even care? How many times do we have to see her walk on some tan landscape, get treated like crap, but then talk tough about being "stormborn" in some foreign tongue?
