He was dying from her dagger, not magic boobs. Although, I'm all for magic boobs.

magic boobs ? are you serious LOL

Already said it last week that I was sure he was poisoned they made sure to show how he got cut and considering that's how her father Oberyn did it with the Mountain it was like the most obvious thing ever that the dagger was poisoned.

I thought House Tyrell had the biggest army in the seven kingdoms? how is this not factoring in even slightly?

Lol thanks for pointing out the obvious. The magic comment was in reference to how she opens her top and in the world of the awful writing this season enemies become instant friends including her wanting to save his life.

Yes it was so obvious so I'm glad the writers decided to waste 5 minutes making it even more obvious and while they were at it completely reverse, for no reason, the entire scene from last episode.

Yeah, not the best scene. Rest of the episode was top shelf.

I dunno, I actually thought that was pretty believable.

I mean, they really weren't enemies. Bronn is not a Lannister, he's just a sellsword. They happened to be on opposite sides of one particular interaction, but it wasn't because of any deep-seated hatred that either of them felt for the other. Is it really such a stretch to think that one might take a liking to the other when the fighting is done?

And I don't think they had to become "instant friends." Maybe she just thought he seemed interesting and didn't want to see him go just yet.

Season is still going really slowly, although Cersei getting snared by her own web is pretty tight. Things I'm gonna be super pissed about if we don't see this season:

1. A big battle at Winterfell
2. Arya beginning something of significance
3. Some major **** hitting the fan at King's Landing in regards to the Church just apprehending important royal family members right and left.

I've given up hope of Dany ever doing anything interesting ever again, she's just gonna hang out in slaver's bay being boring forever.

And I loved the magic boobs scene, GoT's mood and vibe has always gone well with casual nudity and sex that and has been somewhat lacking the last few season IMO. I mean go back and watch S1 and it was tons more. There's been way too much "blankets over boobs" like this show is on CBS at 8:00 pm or something. If the actresses in question don't wanna do nude scenes that's fine, just don't write a scene in a bedroom/sex setting and resort to such cheap trickery.

It should, guess we'll find out.

Wait, actually, the Sparrow has a much much larger following than we think. He has control of the peasants in the Reach (said aa much to Olenna), and who knows where else. While the major houses of the kingdoms have been fighting this guy has been forging a huge populist following. Peasant revolt with religious fanaticism thrown in for good measure. I love where they're going with this plot.

I just googled if it's biggest or largest(not a native obviously), just because Stannis went all grammarnazi last week(fewer).

Anyways, I'm not sure if the Tyrells still got the largest army, after Stannis went to the Iron Bank to get gold his army probably grew considerably.
If the Tyrells now turn on the Lannisters and start fighting them they will lose a considerable amount, which will weaken their position.

The way Stannis is portrayed he won't let them bend the Knee anymore(First they side with Renly against the Lannisters/Robb/Him) then they side with the Lannisters and turn on them etc. Cersei is the only thing that stands in the way of a working relationship between Lannisters and Tyrells.

They were some pretty magical boobs though.

This seems like a poorly timed post.

It's Cersei's uncle Kevan who heads House Lannister and thus controls the Lannister forces, not Cersei. Don't think he'd back the High Sparrow if the Tyrells attacked him, considering the dismissive tone he used when speaking about them in episode 1, and especially now considering they've locked up Cersei.

Best move for Tommen is to meet up with Kevan (either in casterly rock or KL, wherever) and get advice about how to get his wife and mother out of lock-up. But he'll be a derp and do something else.

If it were up to me you'd never see or hear from Sam or Gilly ever again. Of all the people who get screen time they're by far not only the most boring, but also the most insignificant. Every Sam/Gilly scene is a waste.

I loved this ep, I loved magic boobs, and I do not see a problem with the whole scene at all, she actually kinda liked Bronn. She found him appealing, he got a womenizer persona and didnt want to see him die if only he accepted that she was in control.
05-25-2015 , 09:50 AM

Ha.

And it wasn't even full on rape, after marriage you become your husband's property, that's simply how it works in the GOT universe. Having Theon watch was a great disturbing touch from the writers, people have to remember that it's a TV show. I'm enjoying Ramsay, he fills some of the void that Joffrey left. Although I'm certain he will die soon, probably this season already.

And my girl Cersei will rise again, don't you doubt.

i actually hate it, there's very little in this world that tilts me more than religious fanatics.

this all just kinda sucks. i mean it's super obvious that they're setting the stage for a massive conflict but tommen is just such a pussy little bitch, i want JOFF the one true king back. he was at least entertaining and didn't take **** from a bunch of poor ass bible thumping lunatics. arya of course hasn't done a goddamn thing the whole season despite cameras being focused on her nearly half the time. lol jamie, fkn idiot wtf did you think was gonna happen when you got there? he wouldn't be doing that **** if tywin was still alive. sam loses his virginity finally, way to go bro! good thing jon left ghost behind to conveniently save your ass, u fkn fat bitch. real halfassed plot twist with tyrion being sold into slavery and then half an episode later be free again due to some really halfassed slave revolt or something? wtf? so stupid. and while we're on it, JFC dany's storyline has to be the one thing that can tilt me almost as much as these stupid sparrow ******s

THIS SHOW USED TO BE CREATIVE AND THE CHARACTERS WERE COMPELLING. i'm really feeling angsty and frustrated so far this season, blood better flow in the next couple episodes or i'm gonna end up throwing something through the tv

Exactly.

When she first brought her boobs out, I thought oh HBO/GoT, you just can't help yourself...

Then we saw that it wasn't gratuitous nudity, she was using her boobs to speed up his heart rate and accelerate the effects of the poison. Awesome.

Except she immediately gave him the antidote.

The scene did nothing to advance the story. It didn't even contain sexposition.

Enough to justify massive nosebleed.

--------

Cersei, Margery and possibly Tommen to die ? Chaos in King's Landing to follow..

I can totally see Baelish trying to get the throne as some sort of regent till things are figured out, with the support of the Tyrells..

Anyway, hope Margery survives and looks Cersei in the eye while she gets slaughtered.
