Sounds like the quality on the leaked episode are crappy too. Plus super busy time and hard to squeeze them all in anyway with all the watching of The Americans I have to do!

After months of waiting I'm wondering what i ever saw in this show. Pretty zzzzz four episodes. I know most fans won't admit it but it's pretty damn slow.

I miss better call Saul already.

Fyp you fibber.

If you mean the video quality of the leaks they are substandard for sure, they're somewhat grainy/blurry, not like OMG this is awful or anything, it's still watchable and you stop noticing it after awhile, but

If you mean quality of the episodes themselves, as in are they good TV, they are all top notch.

wrong, the quality was excellent on the streaming links i found
04-14-2015 , 08:06 PM
but man, this season of the americans has a few gratuitous butt shots of keri russell

mmmmmmmmmmmmmm

This is exactly what I was talking about earlier with all the leak talk. OK, we all know now that the episodes leaked, but now there's people talking about their quality. It's a slippery slope from there.

STFU about the ****ing leak.

The Americans is the best show on TV

Upon rewatch I felt the Mance burning at the stake scene was very well done.

The quality was fine for me and I'm pretty nitty about that sort of stuff.

It's not 720p quality... but it's only slightly worse than a normal rip that would be around 350 megs.

In the bottom left, there's a small white square (water mark blurred out)... but again, hardly noticeable when you watch.

So ya, it's very watchable... but if you want a perfect quality rip, you'll be slightly disappointed. If this was one of my favourite shows, I might wait for the better quality ones, but I'm not a huge fan TBH so the quality was good enough for me.

lol these posts are fkn mod-approved, bro. even if i or somebody else wanted to spoil you itt, it would basically be impossible.

step back from the computer and breathe

I remember when these threads weren't mod approved any talk of illegal viewing was pretty much no-go. So it is funny to be now that with mod-approved posts it's seemingly fair game. Whatever, just lol to me.

The situation is pretty unique. This is the first time there has ever been episodes online that can't legally be viewed.

There has been some posts not approved asking about where to download from etc, btw, so it's pretty much the same thing.

I've approved basically every post that wasn't yet approved when I open the thread, unless it's by a bookreader, regardless of content.

The moderation idea was more about stopping bookreaders from posting and that 1 guy who went crazy trying to spoil everyone rather than actual moderation.

Re: lack of discussion. I think there are plenty of people (Myself included) who won't post much about the show currently because we've seen more than those who've only seen the first episode. I imagine the thread will pick up once the 5th episode starts.

I assume we will merge book reader and non book reader threads near end of season right? Isn't the series supposed to pass the book time line by the end of this season?

End of next season catches up to the existing books.

Seems like this would endear him more to wildlings and therefore make him more valuable in efforts to get them to join army.

look, i debated long and hard about whether or not to watch the leaked episodes. i eventually decided that i did want to go ahead and watch them, because while it obviously sucks to not have a new episode for the next 4 weeks, i'm not about to spend that time walking on eggshells while at least half the internet has seen them and pathetic neckbeards everywhere will be revelling in the opportunity to drop spoilers in the most random of places. if you want to chance it, go for it, but i had king joffrey's fkn death spoiled last season (remember none of the episodes were leaked) and i'm not about to go through that again here in s5.

i know i'm not the only one who feels this way, so we need to make sure people are aware of their options.

Was it this Rolling Stone article that was posted the day after the episode aired with the spoiler in the TITLE of the article?

http://www.rollingstone.com/tv/news/...ffrey-20140414

I saw this headline before watching the episode. LOL, what a bunch of pricks.

Fair game IMO. This is a show you have to watch live, or cut yourself off from the world until you do watch.

This, I think I'm done with this thread as to much leak crap is getting thru. This used to be an awesome thread but lets face it spoilers are everywhere on the net. Time to be an outdoor cat anyways....

Anyone else think the red lady gave off a John snow has kings blood vibe? I know it was speculated he is Roberts son before so maybe I'm imagining things.

He's obviously sad that he has to wait another 4 weeks for new episodes. 100% not a spoiler (I have not seen the episodes).
04-16-2015 , 07:05 PM
I haven't seen them, when I said quality i meant video/audio quality
