Though I don't think it means anything to the plot, I think its interesting that Littlefinger has known Ayra was alive for some time and apparently kept it secret. (He recognized her at Harrenhall)
Comparing a whore nobody knew about to a Stark is pretty lol tho. All he had to do was hide his relationship to Shae, not the person itself.

OK, so why do the Wildlings never raid on Craster and steal his wives? Seems like a keep with only 1 male defender would be easy pickens

shes hated, at least by me, bc theres absolutely no nuance or depth to her character. whether its the acting or writing, shes basically thrown into our face as this overwhelmingly "good" character but really she has two levels- either shes MAD and SCREAMING or she's being smug and ordering people around. that's it. she also does stuff like this where it's clear the writers are like "see how clever she is!" but really its just more of her annoying hypocrisies. she wants everyone to be honorable but lols honor, or finds a loophole so she can, when it nets her gain.

at least before it seemed like she was headed somewhere big, and she probably is. but aorn its basically been 2 seasons of her doing the same exact thing acting the same way and it's extremely painful every time she's on screen. basically the exact opposite of what JOFFREY was.

So in other words , u miss her bare breasts?

It was nice to see Sansa finally show some signs of intelligence and logical thinking

I'm getting worried about Tyrion leaving us soon. Characters he interacted with the most have moved on. His wife Sansa has escaped King's Landing, his whore Shae was sent away, his squire Podrick is with Brienne heading north(?), and his sellsword Bronn is developing a relationship with Jamie.

Does anybody think its odd Olenna is leaving King's Landing? Could she be worried about how the assassination went down? Was Sansa supposed to be the patsy? If Tywin doesn't believe Tyrion murdered Joffrey, then Tywin is going to be looking non-stop for who did.

From GoT Wiki, regarding Craster's keep:
Spoiler:
I think the WWs protect Craster and the wildlings around know this.

Maybe she'll actually realize this.
I could dig this turn of events

But we've seen the dragons over KL several visions now. Well, in Dany's we see the Red Keep has been scorched and Bran's confirmed that vision along with dragons flying above the city

My thoughts are why does he think it now and why isn't he searching now?

Tyrion is supposed to die so he will prolly live.

Olenna does not care for KL. I believe she has stated her distaste for it a few times. I love how she is out bozzing Tywin

Another episode goes by and we still dont know Tywin's take on the murder. Seems very sloppy of him to just assume its Tyrion.

No, they're not an ancient race.

Yes, that WW at the end is Lord of Darkness. He (she? it?) needs humans for an army. Converting all humans into WWs will extinguish the light once and for all.

Also, I'm expecting big things with Sansa and Arya Stark next ep.

Dude seriously there is a thread for bookreaders

The only two deaths that would genuinely surprise me are Tyrion and Daenerys, simply can't see it happen.

If you think a post may be a spoiler, quoting it only exacerbates the problem.

Bran too

There's one way Tyrion doesn't HAVE to die.

If Cersei gets got.
04-28-2014 , 05:13 PM
And Jon Snow.

OurHouse whats up man.

Two things have been on my mind. I watched the episode last night, and didn't it look for a couple seconds like we were looking through the eyes of the baby who was being taken away? I feel like I remember seeing the WHite Walker looking down at the camera. Was that just done for some intimidation/scary effect or was someone warging into the baby at that point? It just reminded me of the view we get when Bran wargs into the wolf.

Second, I kinda really don't want anyone to answer because if it ever does get revealed I'd rather be surprised, but are we 100% sure that Jon Snow is actually Ned's son? I'm pretty sure Catlyn talks at some point about how Ned just brought him home and never talked about the mother, and I think I remember Robert in season 1 having trouble recalling who the mother was, because he always wanted to meet the woman who made Ned Stark lose his honor or something. I guess that makes who his mother is a mystery too, but I have been kinda doubting that Jon is actually a Stark since early on. Seeing as how he is black-haired and the Starks are all brunettes. Or maybe Bran has black hair. Ned had light hair though. And the seed is strong. Blah I don't want to be right cause I don't want to have guessed it.

I really enjoyed this episode. I'm bummed its getting hate. I felt like it flew by and was surprised when the credits came up. I figured there was another 10-15 minutes or so.

I found it strange that they showed Dragonstone and Dreadfort in the opening map sequence but no scenes took place there (KL, Winterfell, and The Wall are always shown regardless, but those have been the only ones).
04-28-2014 , 05:20 PM
No, we aren't sure Jon is Ned's son. There is a lot of speculation in this thread that Jon is actually Ned's nephew.
04-28-2014 , 05:22 PM
ah thanks. also, two other things:

oathkeeper is a pretty weak name for a sword. sorry brienne.

and damn, the Leftovers looks badass. HBO sure can put a trailer together.

I think they are just filler locations, cause there weren't enough locations in the ep. What locations did they show in the episode that was only the KL siege?
