yeah hard to do anything with that given how d&d nuked that storyline bc they didn't care about it / couldn't figure out what to do with it

Thinking of doing another rewatch of the show. I have watched it 2x but not straight through. My strat while it was on was to watch the previous season leading up to the season being released. Honestly S1 nd S2 are a bit of a blur at this point.

I've decided that season 7 and season 8 don't exist.

The ending is therefore open to interpretation.
