My theory on white walkers.

Leaf children use what appears to be dragon glass to turn him, however they used a human as their sacrifice. Humans being the ones to hunt them to begin with seems like a terrible idea as a secret weapon. White walker og is now a complete boss and still hates the lead children, but now also hates real humans (cause they different) thus starts the army of the undead. They use winter climates to kill off all vegetation and hopefully kill the leaf children and humans off.

The time loop **** is tougher to figure out unless you've watched and dissected a couple sci fis (I havnt) so I'll leave that to the others.

Sansa still give off creepy vibes towards Jon snow, if she didn't keep calling him her brother id honestly see her declaring him her husband or some **** (for the Starks ofc)

Blackfish return? Let's go.

Arya still so stupid. This dude took your vision away and gave it back. He's ripped his face off in front of you and you even shuffled some of his faces off before seeing your own. He's obviously the real deal. What else does she need to see to just keep her mouth shut and kill mother****ers at his demand. Cmon.

What do we think of these priestesses? Are they legit? I can't imagine varys has told that story to many people. Wouldn't it be great if the moral of this story is that God is sadistic and just wants to see pain and suffering in his name. These red women are always all business and are heavy on the 'burn your sins away'. If this is the only legit God in the universe well god damn.

Now that we have bran altering the past are we gonna see everything tied together by him just artificially setting everything up? Did he implant twins wife with dwarf seeds to ensure Tyrian would be a reject from the family/kill tywin/become a genius instead of just being a sister banging swordsman?

Did bran create the lord of light to build a following in anticipation for the white walkers? Did he kill the dire wolves mother to keep the wolf around to save him at the exact moment?

Seriously I hope they don't open the floodgates but at this point he's basically being built up to change the future by changing the past and that could be a really lazy door to open imo

Either way the last two episodes were honestly amazing and as someone who's never cared about hodor before I can say that that last scene was definitely powerful. It's too bad I knew hodor was dying somehow.

Also I remember reading someone's 'prediction' in here about how there's probably another priestess. Is this book readers knowledge or just some dude going full Nostradamus

So how do Bran and Meera survive, there are in a big pile of nothing, he is crippled they don't have Hodor to carry him and Meera certainly can't do it for a longtime.

So they must have help, I guess it's Benjen time?

Jorah getting played for reals by Dany

Hodor RIP friend taken too young

Euron is a dick, but he's Danish, so it's cool.

Thank you for not giving us Ramsay this episode.

Of course it's planning. I've seen stuff planned way farther ahead. I mean let's give creative people some credit here.

Man you must be miserable 90% of the time.

Others have done a pretty good job explaining it, and I can add the following, take your pick

1) Frankly it doesn't matter if it works. There's a woman who cannot be burned and there are Dragons and frozen undead zombies. If THAT is the part of the show you can't wrap your head around, you may be missing the point.

or

2) In this reality, things have been predestined. It was already explained to us that Lord Varys became who he is (physically) for a reason. All these characters have not had free will throughout their lives, it's all been fate and the illusion of choice. So Hodor had this psychotic episode as a child and was always destined to be the man he was, for that exact moment. The end.

What a great episode, just outstanding.

Didn't love the episode because "HolDor" is the punchline of an awful racist joke and was completely distracted by it

Edit: it's not the punchline, but doesn matter

Hodor stuff, there is something called "after the thrones" that airs
Spoiler:
Showrunners said GRRM put out there that was the origins of his name and GRRM is toally 100% capable of pulling these kinds of things off

What a great episode with vareys and priestess scene and of course hodges scene. We see another white walker Knight go down.

Idk why people will tweek so hard on a scene and ruin a great scene. Poor hodor, experienced that type of death at like 14.

I hope I'm not the only one enjoying the Arya scenes. She's spinning around with that staff like a badass. When she rejoins the main story she's gonna wreck ****. Lol at thinking she's going to poison an innocent woman for money.
05-23-2016 , 09:14 AM
Is Hodor going to carry around the Night's King on a sled now?
05-23-2016 , 09:16 AM
Varys was super shook when that priestess got in his face.

Now the white walkers have wight hodor to do some damage, I bet Jon will have to kill him at some point

Jon killing Hodor just wouldn't seem wight. Good point about Varys, he's never that shook.

LOL no Arya scenes are and have been easily the worst part of a great show for like 15 episodes.

How many stick fights do you need to see her lose before you believe she's a bad ass? She's been sword training every other episode for like 5 seasons straight. Enough already.

is most of the white walker army just wights? and the dudes with long hair that have usually ridden on horses (like the one that meera killed just now, or in last season Jon Snow killed) are actual white walkers that are created via the Night's King touching the babies?

Yes. In Hardhome, we see about 6 or so White Walkers on horseback directing thousands of wights.

So far, we've seen only two ways to create White Walkers - the initial one created by the Children and then the baby. It's possible there are other ways.

would like to reflect on how lovely stage performer Sansa was

My biggest complaint with this season (maybe my only complaint) is the pacing, it just seems off like they're trying but can't seem to get it down. Arya stuff is super slow-mo, while stuff like the Iron Islands is hilariously rushed.

Was a bit distracted when Iron Isles people were explaining the plan involving Dani. How did those two groups align? Plan was to ship her and the dothraki/unsullied across the sea?
05-23-2016 , 10:41 AM
That was just Theon's uncle's bold salestalk there, how he's gonna marry her. There's no alliance.

Ok, so theories on how and why the Night's King is able to see and interact with "future bran" ? In the previous flashbacks, it seemed like bran and bloodraven were invisible. when bran called out to his father, ned seemed to have heard something but still couldn't recognize that future bran was there.

so how come the Night's King interacted with him as if he was right there in that past time period? One thought I have is that the Night's King also possesses greensight, just like bran and bloodraven. Just like bran and bloodraven could interact with each in the visions because they were both using greensight--maybe anyone with greensight can interact with anyone else even if one or more of them are from the past/future.

I seriously laughed after they nearly drowned new greyjoy and they look up to see all their ships sailing away.

It was the icing on the cake when the dude said 'it won't keep them safe, let's build 1,000 ships naow'

I'm not sure how efficient mid evil mass scale production was but shouldn't that **** take years?

Where does queen grey joy go now though? Is she gonna piggy back his idea and head towards danerys? Maybe go to Sansa stark?

Either way she's a boss imo and theon can still **** off.

I hope there is a Arya training scene in the next episode. That plot has not been given the attention it deserves.
