nutz2 on 2p2 scammed the HSNL betting thread out of about 16K. He still owes about 14k. He was a long time reg but at a certain point he was betting with air. He kept things going for a while by claiming to be travelling, which turned out to be a lie. He would have actually owed a lot more but he binked a 1K NCAA tourney bracket he had freerolled.

First he told me he was unemployed. Then he told me he was working for $9.75 an hour. Was funny to run across this today:

He hasn't sent a single payment in over 18 months. He told me he declared bankruptcy (confirmed lie). He told me he ran up 100K in credit card debt (confirmed lie, I saw his credit report). He then told me that actually he had run up the 100K in credit card debt in his wife's name. Yeah, I am not buying it. He hasn't made a single payment in 18 months but he's playing $500 tournaments. Why are people such scumbags?

He plays live in Brooklyn. He asked me to back him for the 1/3 games there. Said it would help him pay back. Did not sound like such a great idea. Watch out for this scumbag.

Maybe some of the other victims will chime in tomorrow.

Has anyone seen him playing live in Brooklyn or at Parx recently? Would love to hear about it. Thanks.

In happier times...
