I’m not usually the guy to go public with a problem but I’ve been completely backed into a corner.
I first dealt with Shaun Johnston on the PP poker app about 14-15 months ago.
The initial period was incident free and any payouts were paid to me without stress.
However this changed when I won £3.2k on the app (the amount verified by him in the messages)
This is we’re the problems started, firstly I was told to wait a week to get his banks sorted.
Second it was I had to wait on people to pay him.
Finally it was that he was broke.
This has been a constant loop for the past year and I have constantly been lied to, ignored or insulted every time I would bring up the idea of going public.
I would like to publicly warn anyone from dealing with Shaun Johnston, as he is not to be trusted and is a serial liar.
He has gone to extreme lengths to try and tarnish my name, claimed I had been paid, claim I had lost the money on the tables only to go completely back on himself and try and set a payment plan with the caveat that I remove any public post about him. He has offered payment plans on numerous occasions with none of them being honoured for a single payment.
I have learnt since that Shaun owes a fair few other people money and I am hoping this post can reach some of those people and hopefully can be some help.
Shaun has now blocked my number and refuses to speak to me.

I have quite a long history in the poker world and have many people who would vouch I am a decent, honest trustworthy part of the community.
Appreciate anyone who wishes to speak out.

This is clearly criminal behavior of a scummy parasite. Best thing you could do is to report it to the Police and hopefully they will prosecute the fraud.

Sorry for my lack of updates recently I have been putting too much focus on Facebook threads and not enough on here.
There is much to say about what has happened, there is a lot of people to thank but out of respect I will keep their names private.
Shaun made one payment to me of £90 and has since blocked my from all communication.
Luckily for me I have been able to gain Shaun’s bank account details and have sent all relevant banks an email going in depth of the situation and they will be passing it on to the national crime agency,
I know for a fact Shaun is still active and has gone as far to create fake alias’s to recruit. One of those being “jack Benton”
So if anyone sees this name please avoid.
Many more people have come out to say they are owed money and the sum of it could be as high as hundreds of thousands.
I really want this thread to reach as many people possible to stop his Ponzi scheme he operates.
If anyone has any questions or inputs please reach out.

Call the police and then set up a claim with your local court. My guess is he won’t turn up to court and the judges will see that as dishonest , and enforce that he pays you what is owed (should you be able to prove that).

Honestly don’t wait any longer - get down to your local court and set up a claim. The help desks in court will give you all the information you need - don’t hire a lawyer.

The judges will then have CPS look into his financial history and if what you are saying is true - they will ruin his life.

This guy is now hiding behind a new group made called "Prime Poker" thinking people won't put 2 and 2 together that it's him running it. A quick look on the admin page shows this.

The matter is being resolved after conversations with Shaun.
For everything that is happened in the past I have to say Shaun has acted in a decent way and is sticking to the pay plan agreed.
Therefore once mods respond to my request I will be deleting this thread
