I recently read that ftp will soon be paying out. I didn't see an exact date on the article as to when payouts would begin. It would be good if we could negotiate an amount of the 16k I get to keep for taxes, and also I was wondering what method you would want me to pay you back once I eventually got all the money. Also, I was wondering if you'd heard anything saying ftp or the doj is paying out sometime soon? I read this off a post by Ryan recently, so I am not incredibly well informed, but I just wanted to open up a dialogue.

Yo! Dont know yet what are the details of DOJ paying out. And about the taxes: I thought we already agreed that you deposited more money in 2011 than you made, so there should be no taxes affecting you. If you are going to pay taxes on that money, than we would have to figure something out. I personally would prefer pokerstars money or cash... But if it is not possible then bank transfer is also oki. Cheers.

I don't yet know how to view the balance or go further with anything

Also, I will be keeping 2k for taxes, non negotiable. I am dead broke and in no way can afford to pay the taxes on your money for you. I am going to have to pay taxes on this.

Yo Zach,
sorry that you are broke. I dont think its fair that I pay all the taxes for you because:
1. I bought 16k from your account, not 12k... and if I knew I would have to pay taxes on that I would never agree to that deal considering all the risks.
2. I should not pay all the money because when you think about it mine is only 7.5k and yours is 8.5k... So If I had to be generous and pay taxes for the money, its only from my 7.5k... and I think in US its about 25 percent so that is around 1875$. I dont think you payed taxes on the 8.5k i gave you...
3. If I transferred the money to my account I might have to pay income tax also... and that is 20 percent in Slovakia.
If you deposited any money this year on poker sites and lost, you should be able to deduct the loses.
Again I am sorry that you are broke, but to be fair I propose I pay no more than 1500$ from the money... If you do not agree we could give this thing to independent person (judge) we both agree on to make a decision for us. Cheers. T.

I am keeping 4k, paying taxes from that, and giving you the leftovers. I am sorry if you don't find this agreeable but the fact that I have zero dollars forces my hand. I cannot pay 3 or 4k in taxes on that money this year and only take 1500 from you, that would leave me homeless, quite literally.

I think you failed to read the non negotiable part. I am taking 4k, non negotiable. You can talk at me, but it won't change the fact. No goofy loans, nothing like that. You pay the taxes, and you get the leftover money. That's the deal, take it or leave it. You are in fact paying the full taxes on that money, not me. Sorry if you don't like this, but I've explained my position and it is not changing, so, as I said, take it or leave it, but stop trying to negotiate a non-negotiable deal. I will be the one getting paid the money, the ball is in my court. Your options are get 12k or get nothing, it's up to you and how you handle these messages. There is no way you are getting 14k.

I would like to point out a few things. 1) By the time I get paid it likely will be near tax season, and you won't have to wait long for the leftover money. 2) We actually had a discussion about me paying the taxes on this money where you stated it was understood that taxes had not yet been paid on this money. I told you if I could, I would avoid paying taxes on the money and give you all of it. The thing is that plan is not viable, and we are back to the original conversation, taxes have not been paid on this money. You act like you wouldn't have taken the deal if you knew this, I think that is bull****. Like I would have taken 30% on my money on fulltilt, which is what you are trying to say. I got 55 cents on the dollar on winnings that had not yet been taxed. That does not mean taxes aren't getting paid by those winnings. You need to accept this as I am not willing to make some other deal with you. I am heavily in debt already, and there is no way I am going to jail for tax evasion for you, since I would effectively not be able to pay the taxes on the money if I didn't take it out of the winnings.

It might not even be enough man, I might still take a sizeable hit. It is often 30%. when i get the money i will send a message requesting your bank info. No need for further messages till then.

I just got an email from fulltilt saying I'll have the money in about a week. My plan is to send you two wire transfers from chase bank to your account, each in the amount of 6k, with 32 days separating them to not attract any undue notice from doing wire transfers for more than 10k in a month (more than 10k volume in one month automatically triggers an irs flag).
Once you send me the info I need for the wire, I'll get the ball rolling immediately. I am trying to track down an accountant that advertised in the newspapers a few years ago that she specialized in poker players taxes, I'll get back to you with her input or whatever accountant's input once I have the meeting.

I should risk jail and huge fines to pay an acquaintance money he said I didn't have to pay him?? The deal in writing says one thing, but we agreed on something else and you know it.
Not only that, I have schizoaffective bipolar disorder, and if you somehow went so far as to make this a legal dispute I could pretty easily prove I was not of sound mind to make any binding deal, I have plenty of emails to my family from that time period describing my mind state.

Then you told me you had losing year that year so you will probably wont have to pay taxes on the money anyways. That was It with the conversation. I never agreed to pay for your taxes. This was our deal. I tried to be fair to you, and your situation and give you reasonable offer, but you are acting like I am trying to do scam you. That is not cool. I have good memory, I would never agree to a deal like that, If you remember what the state of fulltilt poker was at that time. Fulltilt Poker money went for as low as 12c for a 1$. It was 8 months after black friday and all funds were stuck with very little to no hope. I gave you very good price, with trusting you after knowing you very little at a time and I did not even knew If you had the money on fulltilt. But people vouched for you and I agreed.My character: I never lie. I dont scam. I remember things. I never borrow money, I have no debts, never had. I always try to be fair, and I dare you to find a person that thinks otherwise.
