Romance Scam Romance Scam

I didn't realize how often this happens. I was scammed as well, but by an ex-boyfriend. I'm a single mother and he led me to believe that he could help me. I gave him $10k and with promises of $10k to $15k/month. I asked him to donate the money he owes me to Ukraine. That money could have helped dying lives. He said this was done, but now has failed to provide receipts. He's one hell of a con artist, gaining a woman's trust and taking advantage of her. I see a lot of the threads on here are scams via online. This man is another tinder swindler, and women should be warned. He's offering to pay after tax season, and continues communication now ignoring answering anything about the donations. I obviously can't trust his word or that he will pay me back. I read these threads and it saddens me that not much can be done. Before I staked him he would show me his winnings and some nights $50k and up. He groomed me to think he cared about me and wanted to really help me. Taking advantage of a single mom who wanted to use the money to help pay for my daughters biopsy, and saying the money was donated to charity to dying Ukrainians is a different kind of evil. If you ever run into Richard Turner in Las Vegas or a dating app, please be careful. I'm trying to pursue this all legally. But additional tips will help, and I don't ever want another person to go through what I'm going through again.
