SUMMARY:
On July 31, after come 2+2 PMs and AIM contact, Ben De'laney from Australia (http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/members/102036/ , delaney_kid on Full Tilt) initiated a stake under me. Our first payback/debt settling date was 2 weeks from the start date, so nothing really happened until on August 4th, when Ben won over $6k in this tournament (copy/pasted from http://www.officialpokerrankings.com...E9EE4.html?t=1 ). The majority of the money that he owes me is from this tournament.

Soon after, he stopped responding, saying he went to went to play a live tournament (The Victorian Championships) where apparently he won $20k (AUS?) http://www.pokerpages.com/players/pr...en-delaney.htm . I never received any contact from him, nor any money from him, after this live tourney. He stopped responding to 2+2 PMs and e-mails, and stopped signing on AIM. By his own calculations, he owes me $4.2k (see e-mails).

My apologies to wobuffet, who PMed me about this on Saturday, and I haven't responded to him yet. Been playing catch-up since getting back into town Sunday.

I've PMed delaney_kid twice in the last couple of months about this issue, asking him to respond. I know he read the last one (read receipt FTW). No response.

Fwiw I know Delaney_Kid IRL and am good friends with the person who is currently staking him. He was selling off his action in the Vic Champs ME that he final tabled and I know that he paid out then. He's been staked in other events (both online and live) and as far as I know has been honest about results and paid anything due.

I find it hard to believe that you went to all the effort of creating that webpage and of posting in multiple threads around 2p2 if what you say isn't true, but there are 2 sides to every story. I will forward his thread on to those concerned.

The thing is, this issue was posted about over a month and a half ago, I have PMed him twice asking him to reply, and there hasn't been a peep from him. If there's two sides to this story, he isn't very eager to tell his.

However, your efforts to pass this along are appreciated. Hopefully they will get some results.
