I shipped 495$ to Alize on FTP for a 22" Monitor ( http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/sh...d.php?t=232447 ).

Its now 1 Month ago and I still don't have the Monitor. I don't know how long shipping to Germany usually takes but i think 4 weeks are way to long. I think i got scammed. Ive also read past post from Alize and it seems like he was looking for a NL25 staking, so maybe 495$ are much money for him. I wrote him several messages the last 3 days but nothing happend

Possible scammer: snapfc01 (though I'm not certain)

I paid $30 for 3 books from snapfc01. Payment was sent July 2. Communication throughout was very good, and all seemed well. But he claims to have sent the books (plus 2 extras as compensation for the delay) on July 17. As of now I have not received the books. I would be patient and hope that it's still in the mail, but I suspect I'm being scammed because I have messaged him multiple times and have gotten no response. The last message I have from him was sent July 16 (informing me he'd send the books out the next morning), and I have since sent him 3 messages, all with no response (he has been online since I sent the first 2 messages and didn't reply, and I sent the 3rd message today).

At this point the only reason I think I may NOT have been scammed it that I only paid him $30... It seems like scammers aren't out to make that small amount of money. But I also don't know why he hasn't been responding to my messages or why the books haven't arrived if he sent them when he said he would.

UPDATE: snapfc01 was online approximately one hour ago and still has not responded to my PMs.

snapfc01 has been online multiple times and still has not answered my PMs. Please investigate this user so that he can not scam other members.

crack_david, Aceroth, I have PM'd your respective trading partners and asked them to reply directly to you and/or in this thread or they will face further consequences.

dtan05 backed out of a trade after two months of me holding a monitor for him. Although holding it was my decision, I was told by him that it was a for sure deal (twice), but he couldn't make the purchase until he moved. If you own a 30" monitor, then you know why this seems reasonable. Anyway, he told me he got it from a more reputable source, but if he wasn't comfortable trading with me he should have just come out and said it instead of jerking me around. Please "trade" with dtan05 if you'd like people to backout and then ignore your pms. You'll know he's backed out when he starts a new thread looking for the same item without mentioning it to you.

He sent me a money order that covered the $225 for the monitor plus $20 for shipping. when i went to the fedex place they informed me it was going to be another $25 for packaging instead of the $5 they told me on the phone.

well, i just sent it out to him and the next day he sent me $25 on stars w/o my prompting.

he just got the monitor today and as far as i know everything went perfectly.

A++. I'd deal with gettym anyday. Def. recommended!

yuppers, got the monitor a few days ago from michael clayton and it's fully functional and was a great purchase, prompt shipping and everything went v v smooth
