I made this thread on May 15/09

2-3 days ago I received a PM from "FallsviewFiend" saying he had an iPhone 3G for sell. He had pictures with a piece of paper saying "FallsviewFiend 2+2, iPhone 3G". He had around 320 posts on this site, mostly poker strategy posts and seemed like a good poster, also congratulating people for nice scores, and
so on.

He PM'd me his s/n and I shipped him $300. He said he would PM me when he got home later that night because he was gonna be busy that day. It's been 2 days now and not even a PM from him. He was also logged on at 11:09PM last night so I know he was logged into 2p2 and did not PM me, which would be weird if he was legit. I gave it some time and I think this is long enough.

FallsviewFiend if you read this, and you are legit but a bad communicator/seller, I no longer want to go ahead with the deal and please send the $300 back on FTP.

Anynone know anything about FallsviewFiend? He sent me some pictures with an ipod touch with the words FallsviewFiend 2+2 and made me a nice offer. The same thing happened to me i saw him posting strat and stuff and i thought he was legit. We talked on aim and he said that he would be shipping thru a company called Purolator or something, even tell me things like the way he is gonna ship it and stuff AFTER he received the money, so i dont know what to think really. I feel scammed but deep inside i still have a little hope. Anyone knows anything? If i have his sn and his aim can i do something?

Yes I did I shipped with a company called purolator I don't think the tracking information will be great because I think multiple carriers will be used since I'm sure in Chile they don't operate.

Bought a book from deepdowntruth, I shipped first, we had excellent communications throughout and the booka rrived in a timely manner. (unlike my feedback).

Bought two books from skoldpadda, again I shipped first, again the books arrived in a timely fashion.

Both of the sellers I would not hesiatte to deal with again.

Dont suppose there is any way to get neteller to help in getting my money back ? I payed with a neteller p2p transfer.
