AFAIK, his previous transactions have gone on without a hitch, so I was kind of hesitant to post this, but seeing as its been almost 10 days, I figured it was time. I just hope nothing serious happened to him, he's seemed like a standup guy.

I was contacted by 2p2 user 'Maarud09' in response to my recent post about wanting to buy some 50c casino chips.

He was in contact with me by MSN. His MSN was maarud9090 (at) hotmail.com

I refused to deal with him because I thought he was a scammer. He has not scammed me - that was merely my perception based on the following bits from our exchange, and once I found the origin of the chip photos, it was pretty definite in my mind:

-I repeatedly said I was only after 50c chips, but the guy - who claims to have almost every chip - doesn't seem to understand this.
-He claimed to be in Norway, but also claimed to have a whole series of chips that are normally only availble in the US. If he truly owned all the chips he claimed in Europe, he would probably have one of the largest chip collections in the whole continent
-He sent me various emails of chips claiming to be his. They are from http://lurker.gjallar.no/photo/chips/ and are not owned by him.
-He tells me that his post at http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/sh...ostcount=41974 was him trying to sort out a intersite transfer for a roommate

2-3 days ago I received a PM from "FallsviewFiend" saying he had an iPhone 3G for sell. He had pictures with a piece of paper saying "FallsviewFiend 2+2, iPhone 3G". He had around 320 posts on this site, mostly poker strategy posts and seemed like a good poster, also congratulating people for nice scores, and
so on.

He PM'd me his s/n and I shipped him $300. He said he would PM me when he got home later that night because he was gonna be busy that day. It's been 2 days now and not even a PM from him. He was also logged on at 11:09PM last night so I know he was logged into 2p2 and did not PM me, which would be weird if he was legit. I gave it some time and I think this is long enough.

FallsviewFiend if you read this, and you are legit but a bad communicator/seller, I no longer want to go ahead with the deal and please send the $300 back on FTP.

Also mods, I'm not sure how this works now that I posted this but if you ban him right away theres no hope of getting my money back. Are you going to give him time to come here and possibly defend himself/ship my money? This was more of a warning right now and I'd still like to give him a chance to come here and fix this.

Too late to edit my first post. It seems I made a mistake about his last login time, so really he have not logged in since the day I sent the money, if anyone else has dealt with him before please let me know.

Received Fallout 3 and strategy guide today. A bit slow, but he explained he was out of town for a few days, plus we had the long-weekend to contend with. Also, due to him mis-quoting shipping the price we had agreed on was actually a bit low, and he ended up eating about $5 in shipping costs because of his mistake. I didn't ask him to, but he did it anyways. That certainly helped make up for the extra couple of days. Glad to have it in my hands! Satisfied with the transaction and would probably deal with jesse kidd again.

Bought a PS3 from Madfrog awhile back that we had some complications with (not the best shipping job, absolutely destroyed by USPS)

He stayed in constant contact once we decided what was the correct play, he decided to cover shipping both ways, I sent him back the PS3, I think we're both as happy as we can be.

I 100% think he is legit, and would buy stuff from him in the future, and just ask for UPS instead of USPS.

Tragichero sent me a Nintendo DS and was sent safely (bubble wrapped) and exactly as promised condition wise. I sent half first and half now that I got it. recommend highly.

Mr Q sent money right away and every thing went smooth. Sadly, my grandmother died and I wasn't able to send it on agreed upon date, but sent it priority the minute I had a chance to sell it.
