Player chargedback w/ paypal transactions

Hello,
Today I got a series of emails from paypal that someone I had sold chips to was disputing the transactions saying that he did not authorize the transactions. I have the chat logs of him asking for the chips, but paypal explicitly doesn't allow gambling transactions. I haven't responded yet bc I am wanting to see if anyone has any experience with this and what they did to win the case and not get their paypal shut down. Or is it something that I have to pick whether I want the 5k or to keep my paypal

Your PayPal is toast, probably not even worth discussing with them. Remove money from your linked accounts to be safe. They will threaten to send you to a debt collector but I'm not sure if they will

An update on what happened with this as it could be useful to someone else.. Despite having all the chat logs of him clearly asking for the chips that he was sending paypal for after seizing the $ and putting me into a negative paypal balance, they sided with the sender who was charging back with his bank. Its preposterous to me they could do that as it was clear as day, but thats what happened with no real other options. I had to transfer $ to cover the negative paypal balance and the paypal was unuseable until the balance was straightened, but I didnt get my pp shut down as I didnt press the issue very hard once the verdict was rendered.
