I have to admit that I routinely hate your posts more than I should because I think you're him and vice versa.

Yeah, but his scam got revealed for just 10K.

If he sold say 25K worth of stake in himself, if he skips the main event he makes off with 25K but everyone knows he's a scammer.

The smarter play is to enter the main event and bust on purpose on day 1, in that case you pocket 15k and nobody is wise to your scam because nobody is expecting a payout.

Charity thing should deffo be mentioned more on the website, that was by far the worst thing he did.

thanks for doing this admo, i'm not involved in this but i do sometimes buy shares, this sort of thing will hopefully go a long way towards making the few scumbags out there think twice before trying to pull this sort of thing.

As someone who has been asked to Google and research all applicants for a company, seeing something like this would of course be a no-brainer dismissal from consideration.

The times I spoke to him he seemed a bit off and came off like huge douche but he never struck me as the type of person to outright scam someone. I really doubt this was his intention form the get-go and everyone will be paid back when he has the money.

Not 100% on this but he might have paid some people during the WSOP, prob. Charder and 1 other but like I said, not 100% sure.

There were less than 900 players on Day 1 A, so even if you had only one shady partner and there was no possibility that you could be moved to the same table as him after the start, the odds would be roughly five times more likely than your 1/500.

If two people wanted to maximize their chance of starting on the same table, they both would register late in the day. Due to Harrah's system of assigning seats to late-comers, they would probably have a 1/5 to 1/20 chance of being together.

Unfortunately, this type of scam to defraud stakers does go on. You don't necessarily need set accomplices. You just need to get relatively deep and then make an offer to a table-mate.

Here is my idea. You know those magazines you always find at liquor stores, and they have criminals pics, like the posted below. Well, those should be made for the poker community of all the scammers, cheats, and thieves. On the inside pages you have a mini bio of each scumbag. And the mag would then be available at the WSOP, WPT, and a bunch of casinos, just like cp mag is.
