Better yet, if you have a legitimate friend in the poker media business, ask them.

sorry zbt, i assumed you were handling ALL of nick's money with anything poker related; i thought i read somewhere 2 pages back or so that said you were monitoring his money in order to help get others paid back. in that case, if nick did play the tourney, that is just money that should be going to people who he owes, and it really isn't a HUGE deal, other then the fact that if he played, he lied to you. Anyway, seems pretty unlikely at this point that it was nick.

This is more or less what I did when I called Corporate, since I never even really got far enough to explain why I needed it. The guy never called me back.

Okay, so based off some context clues ITT. Here's what I guess happened?

shug_bombs anonymous friend(who finished 2nd) played on day 2 with Koost and the guy who looked like Rainey. Koost shows him the picture, and they think it could be Nick Rainey. shug_bomb talks to his friend, who says he played with Nick Rainey, some slight exaggerations happen as they often do when information gets passed a long. shug_bomb comes in here and makes a post about a smart asian kid(likely Koost) telling his friend (the guy who finished 2nd) about Nick.

It all more or less makes sense. The one issue I have is obviously that if shug_bomb had told us the entire story from the beginning, and we all knew that he saw Nick on day 2 acting recklessly(a story Koost disagrees with, but it doesn't matter) then we all would have laughed at him and moved on. But he seems to have conveniently left that part out of the story.

So in the end, as it was in the beginning. It's almost definitely not Nick Rainey, and if it is, he made 2, and therefore didn't punt the tournament. This should be obvious based off logic, and the fact that Koost(who isn't anonymous and actually told his full side of the story and is therefore much more credible) doesn't think he punted it.

Hi I am new to this site. A coworker of mine directed me to this thread. I am willing to pay someone to make one of these scammer sites for me. I have a guy that makes nick rainey look like robin hood. Not only does he scam on poker, sports betting, ebay, craigslist scams. He is proud of it and it makes me sick. He has even gone as far as to rent out an office and pretend he was an investor and scam innocent people out of their hard earned money. If I can get someone to help me with the site. I will pay. I can make a separate thread with his name and all his scams. I am sending the website link to all his fb friends once it is made. If this is true, you should think about going to the proper authorities, and not just creating a website to out him on a forum or on the internet.

Hey ZBT is this guy dead? MI_Turtle seems like a prime candidate for someone who is gonna off themself. Hes lost all his friends (Poker ones atleast due to this), his job (No games in 2012), No Money (Hes Broke obviously), and No girlfriend (Not sure about this)? You better check to see if hes still alive ZBT, Rainey was a sociopath and when a sociopath loses something like Rainey has lost everything; it usually ends with them shooting out a public place or offing themself. This isn't meant to be a funny post, I am entirely serious. I worry for this guys mental health, and others around him wellbeing. I could see him putting his girlfriend (Channing) into prostitution to finance his lifestyle?

Hes lost absolutely everything. The facade is over for him. This is where people like him go and for one last bit of attention, "Go out with a bang" to phrase it nicely.
