I got staked for the Sunday Mil once by a close friend when I was broke/underage, and ended up losing the $ before entering tilting in a 200NL HU game. Yes, this was a poor decision, and yes, I felt terrible. You know what I did? I called my friend and told him half an hour later. He was mad, and I paid him back as soon as I could, and kept in contact with him, and he probably doesn't even remember this anymore because of how I approached it.

Nick Rainey on the other hand? This was blatant scamming. Even if you want to debate that his motivation was impulsive/not premeditated or even an accident, the way he approached the aftermath made it a scam regardless. He ****ed up, and he deserves the name he has arrived at. If he wants to undo it, it's going to take years of propriety before that happens.
