There isn't any bullying going on (well, maybe aside few angry posters). This thread is meant to spread the word that people shouldn't trust NR with their money. Are you seriously saying that everyone should just stfu and let the scammers continue what they are doing?

Seriously though, great work guys with the website and all. Saw a few interviews in pokerstatic from this guy and there was something weird about him. I'm not surprised he is a super-douche afterall.

What about all those people that don't use 2+2 or even know what 2+2 is? Do random people deserve to get scammed by him?

If anything it'll be a deterrent to future scammers. They need to know if they scam that they won't just be able to disappear from 2+2 and have nobody know what they did.

I use 2+2 and I had no idea who he was until I read this thread.

I'm wondering why you think this. Do you know the man, done business with him? You obviously have some minimum of respect (perhaps this is too strong a word...) for this guy at least to assume he didn't set out to steal in the first place (or is it b/c he paid a couple guys?) Honest questions, not trying to flame or start a new argument.

I don't know the guy, but ever since I first heard him/saw him on the web I thought he seemed like a jerk and he always seemed to be involved in some controversy with one player or another, whether it was one of his disgruntled grinders or other crap. So its not hard for me to believe either way, really. Furthermore, I guess its kinda splitting hairs whether it was premeditated or simply an opportunistic theft.

I honestly don't think he set out to steal money from anyone. Being terrible with money management and not having a good summer at the poker tables/black friday seriously effected his ability to make a living. The fact that he paid back a few investors should indicate that he was planning on paying the rest of the people back, just not on your timetable (unacceptable, obv). If you completely destroy this guy (which you have) I don't see any incentive for him to return the money he owes.

so he sold shares, pretended to play the event yet didnt and took down his twitter and ways people can get ahold of him yet you still dont think he set out to scam people despite being involved in multiple other scams in the past? C'mon...

I've said this before in other Rainy threads, I travelled the futures/challengers tennis tour with the guy for awhile and he is a straight up clepto. Myself and others who travelled with Nick would always have gear randomely go missing, shirts, strings, shoes etc. Other people who are going to have business dealings need fair warning about Nick and are the ones that need to be worried about, nobody should be worried about Nick, good grief.

Respect? lol no, that flew out the window a long time ago prior to this, but even after that he didn't seem like he was capable of rolling on a stake. And well yeah, if his intentions were to roll on the stake why would he ever pay out a cent? Hopefully he starts paying back once he has the money.

Such a great idea to publicize scammers. It backs them into a corner where they will have to pay back, change the way they live and think or be completely ostracized by the community. It also greatly reduces the chance he will scam people again.

Lol at any violence argument that basically makes him more obstinate. Doesn't change public awareness etc.

1) He'll be less likely to scam someone again, if only because a potential victim who does a Google search for Nick will see Admo's website and/or this thread.

2) It'll discourage other potential scammers from using 2+2 to perpetuate their scams. The website is a deterrent to others.

Rainey can still partially repair his image by repaying his victims and publically apologizing. If anything, the website puts more pressure on Nick as Nick will be more likely to convince Admo to take the website down if Nick has repaid the victims.
