Watch out if you are in Connecticut, Massachusetts, or New Hampshire. A guy named Christopher J. Paolino, who also goes by “Chris” and “Slice” is not paying debts that he owes to other poker players. He mainly plays the 2/5 games at Mohegan Sun, but since it was closed he has been playing at Chasers and Boston Billiards in NH. He is also is a known internet troll and had gone after one person by impersonating him / taking his identity. That guy got very mad and sued in court and now Paolino will not pay the judgement the court ordered and is taking advantage of COVID to avoid paying. The whole story was documented by the plaintiff who put it up on Poker Uncensored, a Facebook group and news page he runs. Here are screenshots that shows the court order and information that Paolino never paid as ordered by the court.

I like how OP specifies that a guy named Christopher also goes by "Chris".

It was actually $300, the rest is small claim fees. I will be shocked if this guy goes to prison over this. Don't think that is actually possible.

Think of all the cents of interest he's making while he doesn't pay. Let it ride imo and collect the extra buck in $22.

Spoiler:
Obvs a scumbag for not paying.

True. I’ve lost less than that but more than op. Poker players that ask for money are not usually good for it.

Since it's only $450 and such a small number, why doesn't he just pay up? Slice must consider it large enough to steal.

Slice is a scumbag piece of ****. I let him borrow $1700 at foxwoods one time like 7 yrs ago and he never paid it back. When I asked him for my money, he threatened to "feed my teeth to me anally" if he ever saw me in person, then immediately blocked me on messenger like all scammers do. **** that piece of ****. If I ever see him im gonna beat the **** out of him and take my money.

I am the person who went to court and obtained a judgement against Mr. Paolino.

In 2019, Mr. Paolino stole my identity and impersonated me online. He began to represent himself as me to others. One of the things he did was contact the people who run Hendon Mob, posing as me, to have my results/profile removed from the site. He did this two times before they ensured it was noted in their records to ignore any requests to delete in the future. If he was not a complete fool who decided to go around bragging about what he did, Mr. Paolino would have gotten away with it because the amount of work required to prove he did this in a court would be very burdensome. However, his bragging was an effective confession and was documented for the court filing.

When he received the lawsuit, Mr. Paolino was angry. I offered to allow him to settle out of court and he refused. He sent me frequent insults and attacked my intelligence, made claims that I was a closet homosexual, threatened to assault me, etc. All of this got documented for presentation in court, but when the court date came he failed to appear before the Judge. As a result, the Judge reviewed the information and issued a judgement in my favor. The Judge found that what Mr. Paolino did was not enough to be a direct violation of the New Hampshire identity theft statute, so I was not awarded maximum damages but a small judgement and court fees. That judgement was issued 3/31/2020.

Since then Mr. Paolino has only paid pennies at a time, and the 2.5% annualized interest on the judgement accrues at a rate faster than what he has paid. Mr. Paolino continually claims he will not pay, despite having the money readily available. He has been seeing sitting with over $3,000 at 2/5 NLH tables, for example. On social media he posts photos of himself with thousands of dollars in cash. All of this is going to be discussed in court. There was an order from the court for Mr. Paolino to submit financial documents in November 2020. He failed to do this, so the court is going to schedule a mandatory hearing sometime after January 31, 2021 (due to COVID-19). If Mr. Paolino fails to appear the Judge can issue a warrant for his arrest. Mr. Paolino has been told this numerous times and claims he will not show up in court. He is aware of what can happen to people in prison (violence & assault) and apparently still would rather be locked up than follow the court’s order.

Given that they're not even the same name (the author is Paolini), I'm going to go with no, and am deleting the posts about it.

He never loaned me money lol. He's a sociopathic narcissist that tried to scam $10,000 from me for allegedly having his pathetic hendon mob erased, and sued me.
His frivolous lawsuit won him a $300 settlement only because I never showed up in court because how much of a joke it was. He's a psychopath.
