Pretty strange that he decides to pay back on the 18th when he shipped $25,000 in an MTT the night before..

I don't get why he needed a player swap. Isn't it just easier for euros to just withdraw to MB or neteller and then redeposit especially if all accounts are the same currency to avoid currency charges.

Adrian owed $900 in mu when he won a tourney and was able to clear it with a small profit on top of the mu owed. He asked if he could do an early profit chop as he needed the money so I agreed. The mu of $900 and $150 in profit was to be sent to me and he also was to cash out $150 in profit which he did.

The next day he said he could only send $900 as his transfer limits were maxed out so i told him to send the $150 profit the next day. When I contacted him the next day he told me he had played my profit at the tables and does not have it anymore. He refuses to pay it back as he wants it added to his MU which i did not agree to.

I have a situation I would like feedback on. I just got done staking a guy for $100 on Black Chip Poker, giving him a chance as I saw him on the tables and he wanted to stake. As for the quick background, after a few emails back and forth and after I researched him on here and google (nothing bad was found), I decided to give him a chance. His staking agreement was for low stakes O8 ($0.05/0.10) tables and $7.7 Omaha high MTT only. If the roll got to a certain point the he could increase the level he played in O8. Its spelled out in the contract.

I sent him the $100 and he joined the $0.05/0.10 and started getting into a fight with the other players calling them names etc to which of course they retaliated. I told him to cut it out.

Here even though I don't call him out on it he admits playing Omaha high which is not part of the contract.

Before I go to bed I check back and he is on the table berating again. I dont say anything but go to bed with the thought of addressing it today. I work an 8-5 job and let the dogs out at lunch on my break around 12ish. I glanced and saw him playing and guess what...he was doing it again so that now makes 3 times. I don't say anything as I was going to address it after work.

Not sure the circumstances in which you met him at the table and decided to stake him but in general probably not gonna be the best way to find people to stake. The dude obviously has some issues based on the chat but it doesn't seem like you have much you can do about it unless you find out that he played other games he wasn't supposed to play. The fact that he acted like a douche in chat doesn't mean anything for being entitled to money back but if he played games he wasn't supposed to then you are def entitled to your investment back. So you should definitely try to find some concrete proof of him playing games that he wasn't supposed to. gl

I was building my case on ending the stake figuring he would go off on players again to give me more reason for the termination of the contract....should have ended it there of course now but it is what it is.

Matt, if you can't see from that skype log that this guy is a degen and a scumbag, and you still hold out any hope whatsoever of seeing a cent of that $100, I don't know what to tell you. I'd personally be amazed if he's over 14 years old tbh.

Has he stopped talking to you? Since he was the one who brought up giving you the money back I think there may be a chance to get it back still. Just try and stay in contact and if you want to you can let him know that you will be posting his info in this thread if he doesn't give you at least a good faith payment within a week or two. Stay calm in your discussions with him since this isn't the type of guy to respond well to threats/anger. I would also try to get him to admit to playing the plo high games while knowing he wasn't supposed to.

Also, did you have some sort of written down agreement of what games/stakes he was supposed to play? That would also be helpful to see if you have some sort of contract written down.

Reason: Stealing funds we gave him on pokerstars - full story below:

Bankrollsupply backed him on Pokerstars 5 months ago aswell as ipoker. last month an investigation had to be put on his ipoker account due to possible chip dumping. after a few days it was confirmed his account was chip dumping and his ipoker funds were immiediately removed as bankrollsupply have the capability to do that, however BRS do not have such capability on pokerstars.

I was asked to retrieve the funds from pokerstars whilst this investigation was going on and as his mentor all of my group are required to give me pokerstars passwords incase of things like this when they start. He however had changed his password, after asking him to send me his stars bankroll he asked me why he was banned from ipoker and sounded furious. I told him a fake reason due to wanting to be discreet before we get his stars roll back. He told me he hasnt played on ipoker for weeks and after me explaining a little what was going on he said his cousin got into his account as it auto logs in and chip dumped to his friend.

This all occured a few days before bankrollsupply players get paid. he was guaranteed a $500-600 payment for march and he said he's holding on to pokerstars funds until he gets paid. BRS have told him they won't be paying anything until he gives our money back and keeping it is a surefire way to get kicked from being backed. However he still refused to budge and has now taken the stance that he is keeping the funds we gave him.

Update...well salvaged $40 that I just received so better than nothing I guess...updated skype info here below keeping mind I just used the BCP banning line to get in his head. I will post his info below for others to avoid this.
