His m.o. has been creating new Merge accounts with each new 2+2 account.

- Gosunoko on Pokerstars:
Scammed several people over different sites (2+2, ps.de, intelli).

-Snatsh on Pokerstars:
Made some good staking deals with him, until he asked me whether i would stake a friend of him (Gosunoko) and that he would vouch for him and if gosunoko would scam me he d step in. Well Gosunoko scammed me and Snatsh said he would have broken up the contact with him and he does not feel responsible.
He also scammed a german Highstakes-MTT reg (lissi stinkt) for about11k.

- Phyrrus on Pokerstars:
Scammed a whole bunch of people over different sites. He lives in Thailand and always had some sick RL-trouble stories why he cannot pay the money back at the moment but it will be soon. He disappeared from Skype and also Pokerstars a while ago.

- XChipDonX on Pokerstars:
Also scammed several people from the german forums, but he seems to be trying to pay the money back. I will update on that.

-Schandtat on Pokerstars:
Pretty ugly story as he was a moderator on one of the german forums and a lot of people trusted him. He had two stakings for different games going parallel, and after running terribly in one of the stakings played other games or cashed out for RL from the other staking. Wanted to pay the stackers back. We are waiting and i will update on this when something happens.

He is completely dishonest and has no problems at all with stealing any amount of money from any person ever. You will never get the money back from him, sorry. Contact the network if you have any suspicions and point out he claims to be 16 and maybe they will freeze his account, although it may not have any funds in it.

Still no word from NoFX Fan, and his last post on 2+2 was almost a month ago. Situation looking pretty grim.

Does anyone know of any other possible way to navigate the situation? I assume legal recourse is not worth it for the amount of money in involved. Does anyone know him personally, or at least have some sort of relationship with him. Thanks in advance.

Darren played out of BRM guidelines in both cases and on his cash stake with another backer, reported that he was within guidelines even though the evidence was clearly visible at PTR. Darren was provided with documented Skype conversation regarding his mtt stake with us showing that he was aware of what limits to play and chose not to follow the guidelines.

In both cases Darren is in make up and wanted top ups, while still not mentioning that he was with another backer as well. When given the opportunity to come clean, he said: "Its done mate my cash stake is all tied up and finished I was in back end of it but finished now man i feel bad because i honestly didnt think a cash/mtt clash would be a issue gurrrr"

... he in fact is in make up so the stake is not completed. He also said that we had all his mtt action and he wasn't looking elsewhere ... however the other backer Mark said that Darren was trying to get staking for the micro millions from him as well as asking us for the same thing.

At that point we emailed Darren with our findings and documentation and have asked for a response and he had been strangely quiet when previously getting several emails daily.... although he now has replied with :

"Sorry for not getting in touch, I will be making payments to yourself and mark on the 1st of April and another payment on the 1st of march to pay off this full debt, In my defense I didnt see the issues with two different stakes on different types eg mtt v cash but I have nothing else to say other than sorry"

... so we have edited the post we were going to put up (that we sent him) as he has at this point agreed to make this situation right.

He currently owes $500 to Mark- cash game backer ( Mark will be sent a link to this post as well and can add his thoughts)

He currently owes $200 make up to us for mtt play

... we will keep the community updated and hopefully Darren will clear his name.

Yeh I agree with what has been posted in the thread up 2 date, this stemed from not knowing that 2 different stakes ie cash n mtt were taboo, obv Id rather have the chance to play it through make up and win the money that way ( was making deep runs ) but that it looks is not going to be possible.

Patrick has been a loyal stake in the past before Black Friday. I picked him back up when I relocated to Canada. The last post in his staking rail was on February 13th and I haven't heard from him since.

Patrick has blocked his Sharkscope as well as PokerProLabs which I don't allow my players to do. The whole scenario is strange as he's been loyal in the past. I may be forgetting something he's told me, but 33 days is a long time and it's better to be safe than sorry.

I received back full payment from toode after his recent Sunday Million score.

Just looked this up, the final table deal must have been crazy, guy finishes 7th and walks away with $590k (highest amount).

I'm not saying you are implying this, but to be clear I really think whilst it is CLEARLY better than not paying at all, paying back stolen funds/owed funds after winning a big score doesn't excuse the original intention to steal. I say this because I heard about someone who scammed me a while ago "intending to pay if/when he makes a decent score in a MTT". So I would still not trust/stake that guy for example. Not that he is likely to look for staking anytime soon after that score but just saying. Again, I'm not saying you were implying that it is not ok etc.

RE: Nofx etc. Also saw him on 2p2 a lot and seemed to get along quite well, hope that gets sorted out in the end. Probably is just busto and doesn't know what to do, hopefully he will make things right. One of the e-mails someone posted links to Facebook, maybe try messaging him there (in a respectful way).

Toode was staked on PTP during his Sunday Mil score. Had he not I would have requested a cut (equal to that of our previous agreement) of his score as he would have used my funds in order to play. This likely would have ended in a big debacle, but fortunately he went about it the right way and seeked out another backer. Although disappointed that I missed out on a big score, I don't believe toode to have done anything wrong other than the previous offense.

In your (OMGClayDol) example I would expect any and all funds accrued in the previous horse's account to be sent back to who he owed unless there was an agreed upon payment plan. It's quite confusing how some players believe they are in the right to not send back owed funds, gamble, and basically freeroll the owed party in order to have a chance to pay back in full rather than making a partial payment.

We also staked Toode for a brief period earlier this year. The stake ended on good terms but there was some makeup; yesterday he voluntarily transferred back the full makeup amount even though he was under no obligation to do that.

K00pasc00pa subletted my place. We were actually real life friends, and if he had been better at communicating I would've given him a lot more time on this. He didn't pay rent that totalled a bit under two months and has been ignoring my e-mails since the 13th (sent on 13th, 15th, 17th). Last time I spoke to him was the 8th when he said I'd have at least part of my money within a week. Part of reason I'm posting here is because I think he may look for stakes soon. I am aware that he owes someone else money for a stake and has been out of touch with them, although I'm not sure that backer wants their name involved.

I had an issue a while back including a period of time where he wasn't communicating, but eventually he got back to me and made things right, at the time he also had a personal tragedy. I guess all I'm saying is I think there is a decent chance he will get back to you soon hopefully, although you clearly know him better than I do.
