A guy added me on skype looking for a stake. Skype details is C.Kuhn from Germany skype id ahvall23.

He posted his FTP OPR with screenname Ahvall, and when I asked if he played on PS, he said he had no PS account. When I asked about 2+2 and references, he said he had no 2+2 account and no references as he had never been staked before.

Did a 2+2 search, and found his FTP screenname posted in 4 different staking threads under 3 different 2+2 usernames (here here here here). Some of them included the PS nickname 'ahvall23', and two of them included his skype contact which was 'ahvall23'.

I confronted him about it, and he denies ever posting on 2+2, and says there has to be some impersonater who knows him personally. I find it unlikely that people look for stakes using another persons Skype, first name, and FTP account name. Something smells fishy here

Yet the accounts on 2+2 you linked to identify themselves as 'Chris', who is presumably C.Kuhn and a lying Kuhnt as well. Triple banhammer to the accounts is done.

Where exactly and on what account was he wanting to be staked, if you managed to get that info.

Looking at all the stats and info I'd say what has happened is that Chris/Ahvall23 is pretending to be the FT Ahvall so he can get staking elsewhere, which is why he made such a similar name.

Thanks for clearing that up, someone impersonating Ahvall on FTP makes perfect sense, since the stake was for micro SNGs, and he kept pushing on even though I told him repeatedly that it didn`t make sense for a $150 ABI guy to be staked for $2 180s.

The stake was for pokerstars, but unfortunately I didn`t get a PS account name out of him, before I confronted him.

ahvall was staked by us in april of this year we had no problems with him however i did give him a referance after he left us and he did scam someone so not to be trusted now i will not trust him anymore and i i will not be giving refrences in the future

Staked rdmr on pokerstars (CBT on this forum, not the 2+2 account RDMR) for limit omaha, starting at 5/10 and 10/20 games

Stake started off well, i allowed him to play some 15/30.

However, he is an absolute degen, and despite making money, started taking shots at games that i specifically did not allow him to play, and ended up busto-ing his roll (and my money) at 75/150.
He then refused to pay back any of the money he lost there.

Wanting to recover some of my losses, i agreed (grudgingly) to do a 50% action stake at 5/10 and 10/20 games, which he has promptly bled and lost over time

Would not stake again, constantly whines about running bad in a low-variance game, incredibly impatient and takes shots with your money in high stakes games without telling or asking you,

Whenever i talk to him, he is incredibly passive agressive and is constantly making excuses and trying to appear as a victim/pass on responsibility

Please take this as a warning - he is an active user on this forum and DO NOT STAKE

First off it's me on this forum and not rdmr (no idea who he is but i do like his sn choice).

Right, i made about 3.3k at 5/10 & 10/20 - started with 15/30 and made about 4.5k there and took two shots at 30/60 which we agreed on until i faced something i didn't even know was possible, a downswing of 400bb at 15/30 - and so i dropped 12k... I faced probably one or two close to 200bb swings when i was WAY worse or about average compared to other players at the game several years ago - 200bb is a recommended BR for flo8, well it was just a pure sick runbad which is still an understatement, so sick that poor stars support people got insulted badly and me wanting to quit poker and throw my pc out of the window, go downstairs and give the broken parts multiple kicks.
Tarolg somehow managed to calm me down and we decided to go back to 5/10 & 10/20.


I don't know about the degen part, you probably mean i couldn't control myself to stick to 5/10 & 10/20 which is correct, i don't consider my shots "degen" tho.
So at some point i winded up taking shots from 30/60 to 75/150.
Overall in the stake i didn't lose money in those shots and made some profit which i put under the stake. I didn't mention it, probably because i hate people to see me lose while i should be winning, that way it was a better feeling for me which was more worth to me than a couple of 100's.

We agreed on that the money lost at the last shot wouldn't be counted into MU when i keep playing for you. Yea there was a lot of discussion going on about it but it's not the way you described it.

It wasn't promptly, it took me some weeks of 1-2tabling my way to 3k+ hands. Half of that money lost was mine, 3k is no sample and it was 100bb which is half of a roll for that limit, needless to say i run like sh*t.


The variance is almost the same as it is in LHE if that helps out some people who do not understand lo8 variance. Yes i posted a couple of hands per day, so did others and at least i converted them :P!
I told James (his partner) i busted at 75/150, it's not like i was hiding it at any point.

I am Brtarolg's staking partner, and although what he stated is truthful, if not a little exaggerated, I think it was a little harsh. I believe the stake could have easily worked out well for both parties, however, the random shot rdmr took at 75/150 created a close to impossible situation.

I do not think rdmr is untrustworthy.

It is also not our fault he wanted to play higher and accepted our offer to play lower, that was his choice, if his strong start to the stake had continue, he would have been moving up through the limits.

Also the lack of games running at L08 proved an issue

Will keep updated on whether he decides to pay the rakeback or not.

friend / neighbor down here in Rosarito, MX. I gave him a strict $2k roll to play only small stakes turbo MTTs and a few other MTTs and watched him self-ban all other games. He wins some and then cashes out a lot of the winnings out and places all of it on sports bets here in Mexico and loses all of it.
