If I remember correctly, he owed me around $1200 which included the stake + profit that he had accumulated up until the date that he started playing higher games according to your staking guidelines.

I forgot his 2+2 name and am searching convo records currently to find it.

He is playing currently, I tried to talk to him at all of his tables. Furthermore, he's been on facebook/AIM and is not responding to me, and supposedly, not to anyone else now. This has been well over a week now that he's not been welcome in the team. I explained why, gave him messages from xxxxx (A former staker, don't want to release his name without permission), and made sure he understood why I was not interested to continue to stake. I gave him a few days where he was not on to respond and send my money back. He then said numerous times he'd send back and I basically gave him a few more days. The reason for this is because he was at college, or had a new setup so no stars/tilt etc. So I gave him a little longer. Then he said can I just use your money to build a roll etc something along those lines, by now I was like send my money now, no exceptions. He still hasn't, and on top of this hes been playing dumb to my other stakees/friends, and lieing about the amount of money he owes me/I sent him. Furthermore, he's actually been playing on stars, at least. So, not only has he lied profusely to me andothers, he's had access to everything, had the ability to send money, and is being downright scum

This is what I sent to some other stakees who were wondering wtf was going on and whatnot. I basically took him on briefly, sent him amounts totally close to a grand on both Full Tilt and Poker Stars, and then after discovering his poor past decided to pull out, gave him fair notice (it was pretty much a "trial" thing anyway) and he ditched. He even signed a small contract that I can bring up if need be ( not that these have any likely credibility). Also, his previous staker basically had problems with him in regards to paying money also, a claim that James had denied and twisted

Just to add in he used high levels of emotional blackmail etc, "My dads gonna die soon, I need this chance, youre a true friend" (of course I fell for it, but beside the point), and I have all the chat logs from myself and other people that confirm this

Background: Started staking him in late April. Chopped once in late June and has been accruing M/U ever since. Big difference between how much Ive sent him since then and what SharkScope is saying he lost in this period: ~8k difference. Making me think he was already scamming me.

Then in early Sept (7) I got a PM from him asking for another reload, I told him ok but I need to audit his account first. He has never logged onto skype since then (or more likely, he blocked me). A few days ago I caught him applying to tons of stakes in the staking forum, so I sent him a PM basically saying wtf (and one to all other backers he PM'd) and gave him a deadline to get back to me by sunday to explain the situation or I'm going public with this. Naturally, he hasn't and has since started a few stakes with other people. (that I'm pretty sure were ended by other backers already). Anyways, owes me around $18k

Just want to add to this:

I was one of maybe 10 (possibly more) backers on 2p2 that DirkReems PMed for a stake while in MU under SS-TP. Now, Kostya already knows me through SS-TP, but did not know he was PMing me specifically for a stake on 2p2. This was when at least some sirens went off, when we found out he was simply mass PMing people what I can only imagine was the same generic PM to everyone. Obviously, SS-TP had no idea that Kostya was PMing others on 2p2 for staking while in MU on his current stake, and did not include SS-TP in his references/previous backers in the generic PM I received.

Anyway, everything SS-TP has said about DirkReems is correct. The dude is a lying POS scammer that complains when he loses 2 flips in a row while 2 tabling 3 days a week.

Also, Konstantin Kulyko, is the name he used for his PM to me.

Tinga and I began staking Jorge September 3, 2010. We staked him for $2.20/180 turbos on Stars, as well as any $1.10 rebuy turbo MTT. For the first two weeks or so, things were acceptable; he kept in contact with us enough. Shortly I noticed he was playing other games outside of the staking agreement.

Below is a SharkScope screen shot of the scheduled MTTs he has played while playing under us exclusively on Stars (only the $1.10 rebuy turbo was allowed at this time):



From the above, Jorge played 9 games not explicitly allowed in the stake. I confronted him about this and his only explanation was he was tilted from playing break even poker in the 180s, while showing no remorse for playing outside the stake. At this time his account was busto, so we told him we would have to think things through before deciding where to go from here. He made zero effort to apologize for breaking our staking agreement, and instead responded along the lines of "as of now ur down X in ur investment with me so its obv ur call".

Based off of this, we decided to terminate the stake, cut our losses from the $ he lost in the 180s and $1 rebuy turbos, and gave him one week to refund us the $ he spent before going public. For all the rebuy games, I used a general rule of thumb of 5 total bullets for each game to play, since I really have no idea how much exactly he was in for.

After we told Jorge of our decision, he immediately began arguing with us the amount of $ he owed us from these games, going as far as saying some of them were cube events and I should just use the minimum for everything. I asked him if we were really going to argue the amount of MY money he used without my consent and his response was [verbatim] "I guess cuz I am not payin more than I use I dont care what you post about me on 2p2". I even offered to go through his Stars audit to see exactly how much he spent outside of the stake (yea, waste more of my ****ing time) to no avail. He then proceeded to block us on Skype; we know this because he was still available on other people's Skype contacts.

Overall, I can not calculate the exact dollar amount (or equity) that Jorge scammed us, since FPPs and bonuses were included in the arrangement, but I estimate it's around $200-$250 in total. I made every effort to help him value his reputation in the community, but he simply doesn't care.

I have much more of his personal information, including mailing address, age, phone number if mods or someone else need it. PM me.

I had an incident with this individual about a year ago. It resulted in me being paid back for my stake amount in full, but since it's come to my attention that he's actively seeking stakes again (and not mentioning his history), I think it should be public knowledge so stakers can make an informed decision.


Hobb performed well on the stake for the first bit of it and we chopped some profit I believe . After a while, his updates slowed down and eventually stopped. He dodged me for close to a month or so, but eventually fessed up as to having blown the entire bankroll at high stakes cash games.

He had money offline which he used to repay me the entire original stake amount entirely via sending checks through the mail to me. That process went without any problems, once he admitted to having ****ed up and it was repaid quickly.

What we never came to a satisfactory resolution on was the profit that he was up at the time he blew the money. I believe he had 4k in his accounts off a 2k starting bankroll. I thought the 1k in profit (my share) should be included in any payback. He refused to do it at the time telling me "that was a risk I was taking in staking". I didn't press it hard at the time as I was more concerned about getting the 2k from him first of all.

I didn't know this until today, but another member here found a thread on another forum (that he has now edited) but basically is him polling others to see if they think he should pay me back. I guess I'm lucky. http://niketalk.yuku.com/topic/216890

1)I am gedja000 at bunch of sites,but i am not neither Ivanchik here on 2p2,neither any of those listed screennames,except Grindersnr1 on ipoker.Ivanchik was my roommate and a friend of childhood,he has nothing to do with those two pokersites!I am promotions manager at one of those though.
2)He was using my skype alot,since i offered him few % from my affiliate commision if he recruits few players,which he actually did.
3)He has used me as a reference few times i think too.

Now he's looking to do xfers claiming to be the owner of sites that you manage, and he is using one of your s/n's and apparently into some shady business. That about describe the situation?

Ahh fk man. Even tried talking with this guy on skype after you introduced us. Wondered why he wasn't responding to anything or talking about anything beyond the first day I said hi and gl.

Spathic, feel free to run some guys by me man, I'm happy to help check out some of these guys. I've got a lot of experience checking people out from all the time I've spent in transfer threads.

It pissses me off to see you get a bad horse cause you're a great backer imo and deserve better. Also double **** these guys cause it not only affects the backer it affects the other horses backed by him.
