Armando joined us in July 2018. He agreed to complete 10 quality study items per month in a document we can track, as well as play 300 normal speed scheduled MTT's per month.

In his 7 months with us, Armando missed the study every month. In his final 3 months with us, he missed the volume in each of those (November 2018, December 2018, January 2019) as well.

On November 8th a manager made a call with Armando and he understood that things needed to improve.

On December 5th after seeing no progress we reduced Armando's stakes.

On December 11th a manager made another callw ith Armando and he understood exactly what was required and what we needed to see going forward.

After missing both study and volume in both December and January after these two calls it was clear to us that things were not going to improve.

At this point we felt it was necessary to part ways with Armando. As agreed upon beforehand, we asked that he set up a repayment plan for his makeup given he's continually breached our agreement. He refuses to do this.

im somewhat uncertain if this even requires a neg feedback post. i mean your study requirements and especially the consequences if those arent met are just a complete joke. therefore i doubt that making a post like that serves its purpose if it is to help the entire community and warn potential stakers to not invest in scammers. thats at least what i thought was the purpose of this thread. if the purpose is for your staking company to put extra pressure on your horses if they do not fulfill your ridiculous tasks then its fine to post i guess.

Iím personally interested in any negative feedback about a potential stakee. The volume requirements are there to protect the stakers and this horse owes makeup and refuses to pay. If this person contacted me for staking Iíd now know he didnít follow the guidelines he agreed to from the previous stake and decline his application.

Iíve had some borderline decisions where Iím not certain if I should post here or not, this one doesnít seem close imho.

Alex has been drunk with us on Skype several times. The first time he asked us for a loan so that he could get home after a night out. The second and third were with him ranting about us staking him too low and not believing in him.

Our agreement is for no off-stake games to be played. If they are, cashes go to the stake even if the player deposits. This prevents us from being freerolled.

Alex informed us on Thursday night that he would be playing a $109 with his own money and not be putting any cashes toward the stake. He then ranted about not being staked high enough.

Alex has routinely missing our study and volume milestones and with him intentionally breaking our agreement by playing off-stake we felt it was time to part ways.

We informed Alex that we would be parting ways and that we expected him to send us our $1,200 starting bankroll and $1,000 makeup.

Alex owes us $2,200.

Fred intentionally played lots (40+) of off-stake games with our funds. He took $2,000 of our money and loaned it to his brother. He was not completing the study component of our agreement.

In an effort to be more patient and give more chances, we are resuming our staking deal with Alex. We acknowledge we can do a better job being patient and Alex agrees he can do a better job with communicating with us.

Similar to the above we have reached out to fred_volpe and expressed the belief that we can exercise more patience than we did. We've given him the same offer to return to our previous staking arrangement with a clean slate and the past forgotten when evaluating his future requests for move-ups and live events.

Herbert joined us in February 2018. Earlier this month he informed us that he was getting a part-time job and would no longer be able to fulfill our requirements.

We asked that he send us his starting bankroll and makeup ($364.63 total). Herbert sent us $94.71. He is continuing to play daily and has stopped responding to our messages and still owes us $269.92
Herbert has repaid the $270 noted above.

I started staking Martin near the end of July. He cleared makeup a few times and always shipped back promptly with no issues.

That is until now. I sent him a reload on Thursday, October 17th leaving him owing $2000 in makeup owing. the next day he finished second in the $162 for $8600 and immediately deleted me from skype. He actually was not staked to play that high in our agreement unless he sattied into it which I dont see that he did. Although it has only been 2 days I am assuming he took the money and ran.

.
Hello,

I just wanted to let the poker community know that after all these years Martin admitted he did the wrong thing and paid the money that was owed to me in full.

He stopped playing on 05/12/17 owing £253.52 in makeup and £311.48 stolen from the account.

On 17/11/17 I had a long conversation where he admitted to his previous indiscretions (details to follow), and he begged me to stake him despite my reluctance. After conversing with him I believed that he had learnt from his mistakes and decided to give him a chance.

I even gave him an extra month to send me the funds after request, but clearly he hasnít learnt from his mistakes.
I took this guy to court in Romania and won. He is legally required to me all of the above and the court fees. He paid me £100 last month and is on a monthly repayment.

Picture:

Daniel Smith from Corby , originally applied using an email with Anthea McNamee as the name listed, we think it's possible he'll apply to other groups using accounts registered to this other name.

We worked with Daniel Smith from November 2016 until August 2018. During that time we generally had no problems with Daniel. Though he did specifically refer his friend Michael Lyons "Flopdead21" and when Michael Lyons stole our funds Daniel offered to add it to his makeup (which he's never repaid).

In May 2018 Daniel Smith asked us for loans to tide him over while his part-time job dried up. When we agreed to give a loan to Daniel , he said:
Quote:
Dont plan on leaving the stable and if i did i would be clear of all makeup and loans before.
He ended up getting deep into makeup and almost completely coming out of it when in August he messaged us saying:

Quote:
This may come as surprise and is very much my own fault for not being upfront with stable , But have being trying for 5-7 months now to clear makeup to leave the stable ASAP as not happy with a lot of things here and how stable life is in general. Closer i have got i thought easier would get the more mentally tough its been especially with recent news me and GF are expecting another baby and while im not earning poker has become mentally impossible.

That is why i am writing to say i no longer wish to play for the stable but would like to setup a monthly payment of 500$ to clear my name and MU as not type of guy that wants to leave something hanging over my head and always pay my debts.

Main reason i feel i need to leave is the part-time work i had tried to sort fell through and with mentally feeling so bad towards poker and baby being on way i have to start working for my boss FT starting from 15th September that is why i can guarantee my (500$)payments back to stable . I know this isn't something you normally do but feel for both party's it is best way to resolve and for me to pay back stable.
At this point we agreed to Daniel Smith paying us $500/month and repaying the loan + all outstanding makeup over time for a total of $10,400. Part of the agreement was that he would unlock sharkscope whenever we asked and inform us of all site usernames.

Daniel Smith paid us one month and then started dodging payments / ignoring us. Daniel Smith has been playing a lot of volume and from what we can tell has made in excess of $10k in the intervening 5 months. In January he promised to pay us $1,000:

Quote:
Smith_106, 2:30 PM
yes very behind sorry about that things haven't gone to plan since left the job I was suppose to be going into fell through but will have 1k by end of this month to send sorry again

Standard Backing, 2:45 PM
you're just playing on PS?

Smith_106, 2:45 PM
yes and MPN

Standard Backing, 2:50 PM
What's your plan on making a payment by the end of the month?

Smith_106, 2:50 PM
swapping euros with friend as soon as he has enough stars dollars

Smith_106, 2:52 PM
easier to wait for him then he will send me in stars and I can send to whoever jed needs

Smith_106, 2:52 PM
he always has some very quick anyway he grinds cash

Standard Backing, 2:52 PM
how many euros do you have?

Smith_106, 2:52 PM
12k but 7k is his

Smith_106, 2:52 PM
sold action on that MPN site

Smith_106, 2:53 PM
he lives 3 streets away lol

Smith_106, 2:54 PM
just tols him guna start grinding there and only had 500 euro he gave me 650 and its cossts to swap euros so not withdrew yet

Standard Backing, 2:59 PM
ok . . . so you can do the full $2k you're behind on?

Smith_106, 3:02 PM
cant guarantee that but can for sure pay the 1k and make next payment of 1,5k as soon as I can to get up to date
Needless to say we never received a payment. We tried doing a call to reach a better understanding in February (after he repeatedly told us the $1k would arrive tomorrow / next week / Monday etc.):

Quote:
Smith_106, 11:00 AM
I got **** to do mate if im busy I don't reply so stop acting like you know everything and complaining pissing me off

Smith_106, 11:01 AM
i will pay you you money but i am not doing a call with you guys

Smith_106, 11:01 AM
either wait for payments or dont

We offered to reduce the payments to a fluctuating amount of Profit minus his stated monthly expenses x 50% (so if he made $1,000 and had $500 in monthly expenses he'd pay us $500 x 50% = $250).

Quote:
Smith_106, 11:45 AM
yes very reasonableee

Smith_106, 11:46 AM
i willl unblock my scope on 888/party/stars by today and we can make 1st review day for?
Daniel Smith has continued dodging us and at this point we believe he has no intention to repay us:
Quote:
Smith_106, 11:01 AM
post your 2p2 bull**** in meantime if makes you feel better

Smith_106, 11:01 AM
thanks speak soon
Cliff Notes:
Daniel Smith from Corby, Northamptonshire, England agreed to repay his loans and buyout his makeup for $500 per month. Daniel Smith made 1 payment then started dodging us while making thousands playing poker. We tried renegotiating the monthly payments to be based on his monthly profit and taking into account his living expenses. He continued dodging us and has yet to make another payment after 6 months.

Daniel smith owes us $9900.

Jon has been someone we've been worried about for a while and have contemplated parting ways with for months.

We recently received an anonymous Email saying that Jon was sharing his Pocarr account and multi-accounting under the name "steallyblues". As we have been on the fence with what to do with Jon for a while, we decided this was enough to push us to part ways.

We did not bring up the above, and simply explained to Jon that we were going to choose to part ways and wished him the best. He just had to send us his Pocarr cash on hand and owed us zero makeup.

Jon did not respond to that message or our Email. He immediately blocked his Sharkscope. He has stolen our $1,629 that he held in accounts.
