He was my best friend , I know him from over 15 years , I wanted to help him , even tho he was mediocre at poker I gave him a stake about 18 months ago . I used to give him another stake about 3-4 years ago where he played 180 man sngs and turbo mtts and we ended it alright , him having total winnings about 20k $ back then . I even gave up on my last cut when we ended that stake , as he was down 5k$ and he won a mtt of 12k and let him have all the profit and go on his own , to be able to make a career for himself .


Somehow he went broke again , and he was very miserable with his life having thoughts about suicide and always being morally down … he had made about 40k profits total in the past so I decided to help him and make him become a better player as I had the knowledge necessary for that ( I am a HS reg ) … so we started this new stake :

He played mtts and satelites @ abi around 15$ . Never verified him ( yes people might judge me here ) but that’s what I have belived to be the right decision at the moment since I was completely trusting him . He was very open , telling me about every transaction , asking me before making any financial decision , going out with me and having very open discussions , telling me that he is there for me if I ever need any help ( I had a surgery earlier this year and had a hard time ) and all of these on the front , on the back he was stealing money from me .


After seeing the audits and playing histories , I noticed he broke the contract ( verbal contract ofc what I belive to be a deal between men that trust and respect each other) many times as he played casino games , cash games zoom , and spin and go’s .


He didn’t make money in over 14 months , but he was able to make some precuts with me ( always asking me be4 a precut , and we made a bunch of them )to be able to survive ( also he was getting all the rakeback ) so even if he was down a lot , he could put a lot of volume in and make some living money from the rakeback . But he was lazy , unmotivated and choose that it was easier to steal from me . He did it constantly in sums about 50-100$ each over the last 9 months or so , and he stole over 500$ all this while being in MU about 11.000$ .

I now realize how degenerate he was , with very little discipline and that I was there just to fill his addiction for the game , as he didn’t really intended to make a career from this .

I offered him all the support , free coaching , a ridiculously good % on his part , was always pushing him to study and put volume in , to be able to go on his own and have a decent income . I was even ready to erase all his debt at some point , being ok with that knowing that I tried to help a really good friend ( but didn’t want him to know that as I wanted him to be motivated to put the volume and the study hours in )



His treason is the worst kind , and he is the worst kind of scum that is out there . He now put in me in a position where I can’t give him any $ now to keep playing and give me back the money he owes me wich is about 11500$ , and from what I have heard he’s already got a job and he intends to quit poker .

If he’s ever out there asking for a stake , please try to avoid him as much as possible !

Unfortunately, some are scamming and we do not know much what to do to prevent or resolve it.

This is why we ask for your support and/or feedback:
How do you prevent from scams? How do you take back your money? What weapon do you use?
Is there any list of name, in private, where are a lot scammish players? Is this referenced in Google so they get trouble finding a job next to their poker career?
Any other idea?

Started first day for us with a small roll of $100. He then said he was very ill and sent the roll back. The following day he asked for a roll again and claimed that he was feeling better. We sent the $100 back to him and since that day we haven't heard anything from him. Last contact was on the 10/16/15.

Moraru Alexandru was backed by a professional staking group to play poker online. This means we gave him money to play poker, not only did we give him money we gave him support, coaching and loans.

This was to help him become a top player, which in turn would make him a lot of money. He has now stolen the money we have given him and owes over $15,000

This webisite is being made to warn his family,friends and people in the poker communtiy about him. He is lazy and a thief.

Guys, no one deserves to get lied to and stolen from and I still feel bad for you, but when someone offers to stake you but tells you that you need to send them money before they can send you money, tell them to **** off. When you are a losing or small winner at small stakes and someone offers you a stake for mid-high stakes tourneys tell them to **** off. Use common sense and good judgement.

Bought 5% of a very small package I put up in the marketplace. He asked if he could send the next day as he was waiting on xfers from other investments, and I agreed as it was a very small amount and he had a decent amount of posts/previous investments so thought it was unlikely he would scam me for $18. We agreed on a 24 hour deadline in the thread and then he didn't log on for 5 days, finally PMing me today telling me he didn't have the money to send to me until December.

Not too fussed about getting freerolled for 20 bucks but thought it was worth a note so others know to avoid getting hustled/scammed by him in the future.

after the week and the day come that we chop the $% i get a message from player saying.

He contacted with us via email/2+2 looking for being staked. When we signed the contract, we sent him the money and he "disappear" from Skype and Gmail. We contacted him during the next days via Skype, email (because it was very clear what was happening) and 2+2 and he finally answered this:

"hi. I lost the stake that you gave me. The truth is that I lost a bit and needed some of it to pay my rent on time. I don't want to keep this money. It is my intention to pay you back as quick as possible, so please no need to release all of my info on the forums. I will keep in touch and pay when i can."

Money Scammed: 800$

Mod Edit: After a lot of time (check date of the post and today's date) Scott contacted us few days ago apologizing about the scam and with the intention of paying it.

I can confirm that Scott Trash has paid all what he owed so now he is clean with us.

I regularly sell packages in the marketplace. Rogov217 PMd me about my pack last sunday, trying to buy remaining 50% but he said he can't send funds until Monday 0:00 (Sunday night for me) because he reached transfer limits. I had 1 or 2 transfers for packages with him before, where someone else (even very reputable guys on the MP who sell a lot of action) sent to me without any problems for Rogov217's shares. I searched the guy and saw that he bought lots of pieces in other threads, too. So I told him, this time we can do it like this but not for 50%, but for less. Some hours later he asked for shares again. I sold 30% more in the MP and then I told him via PM he can have 20% but he has to send as soon as he can and he shouldn't let me down.
I played the package and finished before midnight. Rogov217 didn't send, neither did someone else for him, he didn't reply to my PMs, he didn't response to my thread anymore. He was online the last time on Monday, so based on his story, he should be able to send again.

I heard from someone else in the MP, that Rogov217 tried to buy action on credit on Sunday from him as well. Plus, he has already history in this thread.

You can edit a post immediately after you've posted it. I'm 100% sure. And i think that you need minimum 10 posts in order to send private messages.
