We allowed Helder to take two months off at his request to help his friend with a political campaign. When he returned on October 9th, he did not get back to following the milestones in our playing agreement. After missing our milestones for at this point three months and choosing to not update his financial rail after playing, we decided parting ways was best.

Helder agreed to a repayment plan for his starting bankroll and makeup. He has missed the first repayment date for this and is not responding to any of our attempts to communicate with him.

We started working with Miguel Angelo Alves De Abreu Silva in May 2017. Miguel Silva was playing MTTs up to €55s and up to €200NL cash games.

We've had some small problems here and there during the last 18 months. But the first major problem occurred when Miguel used our funds to play an unauthorized entry into a €520 live tournament in Casino Espinho in Portugal in early December 2018. Miguel Silva promised to return the funds by the end of the month.

The end of the month came and went and Miguel Silva not only did not return the misused funds, but he did not send in requested audits for his online play. After many unanswered messages (including letting him know that negative feedback was going up if he continued ignoring us) he finally admitted:
Quote:
[10:36 AM, 12/31/2018] Miguel Angelo Silva - Flashynho : Ok then ive been losing a bunch in nl 5 games and couldnt handle the payback yet so I wonder if we can get any solutions in the meantime as i need to keep playing

[10:36 AM, 12/31/2018] Standard Backing: You've got €3k+ currently?

[10:37 AM, 12/31/2018] Miguel Angelo Silva - Flashynho : I should have but i lost that playing my own games

[10:37 AM, 12/31/2018] Standard Backing: you lost our money playing games for yourself?

[10:38 AM, 12/31/2018] Miguel Angelo Silva - Flashynho : Yes been busy last week trying to group money for the payback and couldnt just yet

[10:38 AM, 12/31/2018] Standard Backing: When did you lose it

[10:39 AM, 12/31/2018] Miguel Angelo Silva - Flashynho : Last week

[10:40 AM, 12/31/2018] Miguel Angelo Silva - Flashynho : Was winning about 2k then lost the roll last week

[10:40 AM, 12/31/2018] Miguel Angelo Silva - Flashynho : Asap need to sort a few things

[10:43 AM, 12/31/2018] Miguel Angelo Silva - Flashynho : Should sort that out in january still but don’t wanna miss winter series so need to ask you a top up

[10:46 AM, 12/31/2018] Standard Backing: Do you expect us to send you a top up when you've misused so much?

[10:49 AM, 12/31/2018] Miguel Angelo Silva - Flashynho : I understand this situation could hurt the trust in our relationship. But i will pay all the money back asap. Still need to keep to work goin in the meantime

[10:50 AM, 12/31/2018] Miguel Angelo Silva - Flashynho : All im Asking here is to give me a month to do so
Miguel then agreed to repay the misused funds in full "soon", and a buyout plan for his makeup. However, since agreeing to repay us he has generally ignored communications and then finally said:
Quote:
[9:00 AM, 1/16/2019] Miguel Angelo Silva - Flashynho: Hey! I wont be able to payback right away.
When asked for further details he went back to ignoring our messages. We have since discovered that he had been playing on a pokerstars.com account in November and his hendonmob page links to his pocketfives page. He did not inform us that he was playing on pokerstars as he should have done

Miguel Angelo Alves De Abreu Silva owes us $27,113.

We set up a repayment plan which he followed for a few months. We have not received anything since May. Damir still owes us $414.10.

We started working with Marllon Luigi de Miranda Correa Santiago Pinto in August 2017. We've had continuous problems with Marllonpinto staying within his allowed limits and not replying when he was asked to explain why he was playing those tournaments. Most recently in the first 2 weeks of January 2019 he played $1.8k worth of buyins that were not allowed.

We asked him to send back the funds that he had in his accounts and audits so we could verify exactly what was owed and how to handle the situation without funds being at risk. He sent back the funds over a couple of days and continued to play . When he sent the last of the funds back he informed us that he wished to leave.

He then ignored messages from us for a 3-4 days before having this convo on January 23, 2019:
Quote:
Standard Backing, 11:45 PM
Can you explain what's been going on? We asked you to send back funds so we could talk with you with no money hanging in the middle. Instead you send back funds and claim that action is for yourself now?

Marllonpinto, 11:50 PM
was already thinking about playing on my own because I'm starting to build my team, and when the account was cleared and MU had an opportunity for it.

Marllonpinto, 11:51 PM
I confess that I was also dissatisfied with not being able to play many tournaments that I have great advantage over the players

Standard Backing, 11:51 PM
well you were playing many tournament you weren't allowed to play

Marllonpinto, 11:52 PM
yes, i know

Marllonpinto, 11:52 PM
sorry for this

Marllonpinto, 11:52 PM
but i have good results in that tournaments

Marllonpinto, 11:53 PM
but in the same way , sorry, I know that it is wrong in general

Standard Backing, 11:54 PM
it's also not entirely clear that the tournaments you had large cashes in recently were played before you cleared your accounts / backing was completed

Marllonpinto, 11:55 PM
I think it's okay

Marllonpinto, 11:56 PM
I sent all the prints

Marllonpinto, 11:57 PM
I did not do it and I did everything right

Standard Backing, 11:58 PM
how is playing thousands of games without permission "right"?

Marllonpinto, 11:58 PM
there were not several tournaments, and buy ins were only 22 and 33, and being lucrative in them

Standard Backing, 12:00 AM
did you have permission to play them?

Marllonpinto, 12:00 AM
no

Marllonpinto, 12:04 AM
I ve already sent everything

Marllonpinto, 2:10 PM
i did everything right and don’t have to hide
Specifically Marllonpinto won $2k in a tournament the day that he sent back funds that likely was started prior to funds being returned.

We asked him to send in audits so we could figure out exactly what was owed and how to treat the $2k winnings.

He has yet to send in audits after 8 days, and continues to ignore our messages.

We think Marllonpinto owes us at least $1k, but aren't sure since he refuses to send in audits for us to verify amounts.

Weird spot. Had you already agreed the stake was over prior to the start of the tourney? Would the result of that tourney have been on stake if it had been a loss? Either way the negative feedback is 100% fair, he sounds like he was a bad horse and played a lot of games he shouldn't have been playing.

Victor joined us in February of 2018. He signed an agreement to complete 10 quality study items per month and play 300+ normal speed MTT's per month.

In 11 months with us, Victor did not hit 10 study items a single time. We spoke both internally and with him and decided we would overlook the study component if he would hit all other parts of our agreement. Simple things like playing 300 games, updating his financial rail, showing up to group coaching sessions.

In December he missed our volume milestones and we let him know that if he did not hit them in January we would reduce his stakes. He had a call directly with me on January 10th and said that he would miss the volume but would return to normal on January 16th. We agreed he would not be penalized for missing 300 games in January but that he would be expected to return to normal volume beginning January 16th and attend his assigned coach's groups.

February 2nd we reviewed Victor amongst our management and coaching staff and found the following:

From January 16th-January 31st he played 42 games. He should have played 150+ games as we agreed on in our contract, on Skype, and verbally in our January 10th phone call.

On January 22nd Victor signed up for a 20-minute call with one of our managers but did not show up.

On February 1st a manager had to remind Victor to update his financial rail after each playing session.

In this meeting, the coach he should have been having sessions with said that he had not been showing up.

With all of this, we did not decide to drop Victor--we simply decided to move him down one level in stakes (from our Level 7 to Level 6). We did not move him down for missing 300 games, we moved him down for missing the pro-rated amount for the second half of January, not attending coaching sessions, missing a management call, and not updating his financial rail after each playing day. The sum of all of this combined with missing volume in December and us already being extremely flexible with his study, required that we make a change.

Victor at this point demanded that we part ways. We said that we could set up a repayment plan for makeup or he could continue the agreement. He offered a 50% repayment plan but given our coaching and management costs we were not willing to accept this. We countered with 75% which he declined.

Victor has said he will not repay us and has no intention of continuing our stake.

He has now breached our agreement for study, volume, updating his rail after each playing day, not playing off-stake games, playing until makeup is cleared.

Kanishka joined us in February 2014. Our contract was for a minimum 200 online games per month.

Kanishka routinely missed our minimal requirement of 200 online games because he was playing live poker for himself. He would often play 0-5 online games in a month. After many months of giving warnings that this could not continue, we both agreed to part ways with Kanishka repaying $200/mo until the accumulated $12.6k makeup was repaid. This was in February 2017.

Kanishka was great with following this new agreement until the end of 2017 when he started to be late with payments.

In January 2018 he made a payment for December and 75% of January.

He missed February, March, and April and made a $700 payment in May 2018.

He missed June and made a $575 payment in July 2018.

This is the last payment we received. It is now February 2019. It has been over six months and at this point we feel the need to post.

Kanishka continues to play live poker for himself, is extremely poor with communication, and has not repaid anything in over six months. He still owes us $9,400.

About once a year we have a player just take the bankroll and vanish, and I guess we got this out of the way early in 2019.

This human vanished shortly after receiving the starter bankroll, with the only message being that he was going to the following live event (first we heard of it)

Banco Casino Masters 100,000€ GTD
Public
· Hosted by Banco Casino Bratislava

Perhaps the artificially low starter bankroll of a couple hundred bucks went into that, or the pits, or booze/drugs, or who knows. We are posting this so that other backers avoid the similar situation with this human.

He has not replied to emails or skypes (he has not even read the skypes), and we do not expect that to change in the future.

As Paul obviously shares a name with someone quite famous, I think he needs more personal information to be posted than most so that he can be identified for the thief and scammer that he is. It will obviously be impossible to rank high in google search for his name alone, so hopefully anyone looking for info on him can use other identifying info that I’ve posted. Mods feel free to edit out anything that may not be suitable to post publicly.

Started backing Paul in May 2014. Around September of 2014 he began cashing out small amounts several times a week. In November, after I requested an account audit he admitted to stealing funds and provided screenshots to show the bank transfer cashouts. He has not provided all screenshots, but I believe the total amount stolen over the course of approximately 2.5 months to be 6k. He was also in 36k makeup at the time his theft was discovered. When confronted, he’s promised to continue grinding and that he’ll pay everything back. I told him that any money left in his account, or any money he likely has in his bank account, is all stolen funds and should be returned to me immediately. This money is no longer for him to play poker with. After that, he has refused to return any messages and continues to play with what little money is left without returning a penny.

Cliffs- Paul Joseph Allen, ros1987, from Roscommon, Ireland is a thief and a scumbag.
Coming out of posting retirement to bump this post. Just got word that this scumbag is looking for stakes again. Do NOT stake!!!!!

On December 5th after seeing no progress we reduced Armando's stakes.

On December 11th a manager made another callw ith Armando and he understood exactly what was required and what we needed to see going forward.

After missing both study and volume in both December and January after these two calls it was clear to us that things were not going to improve.

At this point we felt it was necessary to part ways with Armando. As agreed upon beforehand, we asked that he set up a repayment plan for his makeup given he's continually breached our agreement. He refuses to do this.

im somewhat uncertain if this even requires a neg feedback post. i mean your study requirements and especially the consequences if those arent met are just a complete joke. therefore i doubt that making a post like that serves its purpose if it is to help the entire community and warn potential stakers to not invest in scammers. thats at least what i thought was the purpose of this thread. if the purpose is for your staking company to put extra pressure on your horses if they do not fulfill your ridiculous tasks then its fine to post i guess.

I’m personally interested in any negative feedback about a potential stakee. The volume requirements are there to protect the stakers and this horse owes makeup and refuses to pay. If this person contacted me for staking I’d now know he didn’t follow the guidelines he agreed to from the previous stake and decline his application.

I’ve had some borderline decisions where I’m not certain if I should post here or not, this one doesn’t seem close imho.

Alex has been drunk with us on Skype several times. The first time he asked us for a loan so that he could get home after a night out. The second and third were with him ranting about us staking him too low and not believing in him.

Our agreement is for no off-stake games to be played. If they are, cashes go to the stake even if the player deposits. This prevents us from being freerolled.

Alex informed us on Thursday night that he would be playing a $109 with his own money and not be putting any cashes toward the stake. He then ranted about not being staked high enough.

Alex has routinely missing our study and volume milestones and with him intentionally breaking our agreement by playing off-stake we felt it was time to part ways.

We informed Alex that we would be parting ways and that we expected him to send us our $1,200 starting bankroll and $1,000 makeup.

That is until now. I sent him a reload on Thursday, October 17th leaving him owing $2000 in makeup owing. the next day he finished second in the $162 for $8600 and immediately deleted me from skype. He actually was not staked to play that high in our agreement unless he sattied into it which I dont see that he did. Although it has only been 2 days I am assuming he took the money and ran.

.
Hello,

I just wanted to let the poker community know that after all these years Martin admitted he did the wrong thing and paid the money that was owed to me in full.
