I received a PM earlier this evening about this user and was just getting ready to dig into it.

At the very least it appears he'll be losing his marketplace privileges.

I'm assuming this scam didn't originate on the 2p2 forums?

We arranged to do his $12 on ftp for my $15 iTunes GC. He said he'd ship first, and then backed out when he saw that I have no feedback in marketplace. I have only done 5 or 6 small transactions and have never cared enough to leave feedback. I am about to go to dinner and wanted to expedite the process so I just shipped the code first and decided that if he wanted to scam me out of $12, it was whatever.

I scratched the code off moments before sending to him and checked it. Code was valid. I receive a PM from him saying, "are you sure thats the right code, it says invalid." I go check it again, and it is now invalid.

Would recommend against doing business with thebighit89 on 2p2.

This is pretty LOL-worthy. Idk if you managed to read the code off wrong or are even stupid enough to accuse me of scamming you. In my post I stated unless someone had a higher post count and was around longer than me, they would have to ship first. Since he had both, I agreed to send him $12 for the 15 Itunes card. He also said he had a lot of refs, and before I sent I checked and found about NO transactions with him on the marketplace from his prior posts.

I then PMed him this message:

Except I'm pretty sure if a code is used up it would say something along the lines of "already in use". Can someone confirm this??
