alright i will patiently wait for my refund. fyi, this is not my first time buying a chipset, they send all 500pc chipsets with UPS with a tracking number, it's a 20lbs item measures: 35cm x 11cm x 61cm, if they have it in stock which it should be shipped out by now since 2 days had been past, u could provide me with the UPS tracking # right? if you can, you don't have to refund me and i will gladly take back all the accusations

[EDIT] I also might add that this is the first I have heard of this I have not even received a PM or advanced warning stating your intentions

I'm not sure what planet you live on but I have never received anything from FTP in under like 6 weeks before - maybe it's different getting things sent to Australia but it can't be THAT different

Unfortunately I can no longer recommend 'tehchipdonk' for trading on 2+2. I received no contact or anything from him stating that he was unhappy with the service he has received from me except for the post in this thread, not only that but he has gone to FTP Security about this and had my account temporarily locked (which I have now had fixed up with a simple explanation).
Unfortunately I could have been very close to getting rolled in this transaction had the items been shipped already and then being instructed by FTP to transfer back the funds, rather than simply coming to me first in order to reach an amicable solution

Anyway let's move on from this

^ full refund received from ngaskin. well, i give you 2 chances to produce a legit receipt, what would you do in my situation? yes i had to email ftp about the legitness of the receipt, they even confirmed that the order wasn't made (i have the email, i dont think you want to see it), on both of the receipts. but i do thank you for the full refund on your third try. i mean, if you had send me the legit confirmation in the first place, none of this would have happen. i am not new to this trading stuff, you can find references on me, i ain't here to just pick fight with you, let's move on.

This is purely retaliatory based on what occured.

The email you forwarded him (which I've seen) does not appear to be legitimate, and the email he received from FTP indicates that no such order was ever placed:

Full Tilt Store
I also have some concern as the # hands/stakes you played on the account name given doesn't nearly account for the volume of points you're trying to move. I've seen the forwarded emails myself as well. There can be good explanations for all of this, and I've contacted FTP in an effort to make sure that the orders are pending as they should be. In light of all of the above, I don't think it's fair to blame tehchipdonk having his reservations here unless he's forging emails to smear you or soemthing.

For the moment let's just hold up on selling, once this gets sorted out we'll go from there.

EDIT: No one should take this to mean I think OP is some kind of scammer, we're just ironing out some questions as a precaution. It could simply be a misunderstanding, and FTP points could have easily been earned that would not appear on some tracking sites, FTP could have made a mistake, etc.

I was also scammed out of 160,000 FT points or $496 worth. You ought to know I join the marketplace and 2 days later this happens. Gotta love my first transaction. Live and learn. What's odd is the guy has several posts on 2p2 with trip reports and pictures of himself. He also has one thread where he scanned in a bank statement showing (2) $100,000+ deposits over a 2-3 week period. If anyone has his phone # please let me know as the facebook link needs a login id and I'm not a member of facebook. Any other info would be greatly appreciated.

If FT knows for a fact that this guy scammed me and several other 2+2ers why can't they freeze his account and return those funds to us? If he's cashed out they should be able to cancel that check before it reaches him so when he cashes it it won't clear. Those funds can then be returned to the people he scammed.

About Me
My Photo

Nicholas Gaskin
I'm 24 years old and grew up in Geraldton Western Australia,

then lived in Perth for 7 years and now have been living in

Melbourne since April '08. Most of my life revolves around Work,

Golf & Girlfriend, with a bit of Poker thrown in for good measure.

I started playing golf about 2 and a half years ago and joined

the Australian Professional Golfers Associated in November 2008.

In 2007 I started taking golf seriously and have since

accumulated honours such as the course records at Hartfield

Country Club & Tasmanian Golf Club. Also the only Australian

Amateur golfer to score back to back Albatross'. In 2008 I was

nominated for 6 awards at the Victorian Golf Awards and took

down 4, Overall Amateur golfer of the year & Matchplay player

of the year are the two I'm most proud of.

Day 1 of Vic PGA Championship So today was day 1 of the Vic

PGA championship and my first reasonably large pro tournament

didn't exactly go as planned. I shot an even par 72 but I am 11

shots behind the leader and sitting ~T80 right around the cut

line.
The course setup in general doesn't suit my swing at all, with a

natural draw and a lot of dog legs right I really didn't find any

consistency today. A few key holes below;

Hole 1 379m Par 4: Pretty straight forward hole with a deepish

bunker to the front right of the green. Normally a hole I would

try and drive the green with but I chose to hit a 3i off the tee

because of a few nerves. Ended up with a pretty standard par.

Hole 2 155m Par 3: Very tricky little par 3. The green slopes

away and if you miss it then you have a very tough up & down.

155m to the middle of the green would normally be a pretty

standard 7i for me but unfortunately due to adrenalin I hit with

a bit too much club and ended up in the back left bunker.

Fortunately up & down for par

Hole 8 535m Par 5: This was the beginning of my round coming

unstuck I gave my driver a real rip and pulled it a bit left landing

me in a really awkward spot right in front of a fairway bunker. I

couldn't get a decent stance so elected to chip back onto the

fairway, following this up with a woeful approach shot I ended

up bogeying a hole whicg would normally be a genuine eagle

chance for me

Hole 11 169m Par 3: This is a really tough par 3. The green is

surrounded by some really tough bunkers which are a signature

part of any Greg Norman designed course. I hit a near perfect

high fade with a 6 iron and dropped the ball about 2 feet from

the hole for a simple birdie putt to bring me back to even for the

round

Hole 18 414m Par 4: The 18th became a very important hole for

me coming off a bogey on the relatively easy 17th I needed to

birdie this one to bring me back to even for the round and stay

in touch with the leaders. My issue with this hole from the

practice round was that if I draw the ball too much I can find

water. Also hitting with the breeze this brings the green in to

play with my drive. The discussion with my caddy at the tee

went a little something like this;

Me "I think I need to drive this green"

Caddy "We can't afford to do this Nick, if you miss you end up in

the water"

Me "we are here to win aren't we?"

So I get my way and gear up to try and hit a 400m/440yd drive

with a 30km/h wind behind me.

The drive was a bit touch and go for a while there but I struck

it well enough and ended up finding the back edge of the green.

The roar from the gallery indicated the ball must have run past

the hole fairly close but I didn't get a good look until I got to

the green and it ended up ok. I two putt for birdie and that

ended it!

I tee off early in the morning so hopefully I will miss the majority

of the wind and get a decent score to set up a run at the top

10 on Saturday & Sunday. Wish me luck!

Next blog entry I'll talk some poker aswell as golf

Welcome to my Blog!
Hi and welcome to my new Blog,

This Blog is here to keep my family & friends up to date with

what is happening in my Golfing & Poker ventures.

I have tried doing this before and have become lazy after a few

months, but I am determined to make sure it works this time!

To start off I will provide some background on my Golfing career

so far.
It all started in November 2006 when Holly (my girlfriend of

almost 4 years) & I decided to do a 6 week Golf clinic at

Wembley Golf Course in Perth. By the second lesson I had

already bought my first set of clubs and was hooked. After

completing the 6 week course I started to play 9 holes after

work almost every day at Embleton Golf Course and Burswood

Golf Club.
The learning & improvement curve went up exponentially when I

started to get some personal lessons at Burswood and ultimately

when I joined Hartfield Country Club around March 2007.
My scores started to drop pretty quickly from the high 90's to

the low & mid 80's in the time between December '06 & April '07.
Soon after joining Hartfield Country Club I became a regular on

the B pennants team and within a few months I was Vice

Captain of the A pennants. In the time between March and July

'07 my handicap plummeted from 19 to 7. Around this time I

really started to find a 'groove' in my Golf swing and I started to

consistently hit accurate shots and shoot scores well into the

70's. It all clicked one Saturday morning when I demolished the

competition in a club comp shooting a course record 63 (nett

54) and from there it became apparent that there just might be

a future in Golf for Nick Gaskin.
After playing only 1/3rd of the Summer golf season at HCC I

finished runner up in the Club Championship after consistently

shooting low scores and my handicap was sitting between 5 &

7.
Toward the end of 2007 I joined Mount Lawley Golf Club

because it was far more convenient being close to the city

centre and I was straight into the A pennants team. My

handicap stalled for a few months and then eventually found it's

way down to 4 after shooting in the mid-low 70's consistently

and keeping the 80+ blowouts to a minimum.
In April 2008 I moved to Melbourne with my job and things really

starting happening for me in the Golf world from there. I joined

forces with the Victorian Institute of Sport and started to

compete on the Amateur golf scene around Victoria

consistently. I took down the Tasmanian Amateur Championship

by a record 7 shots and consistently finished T10 in most

events I competed in. I also started to dominate almost every

matchplay tournament I competed in which helped add a new

string to my bow.

In November 2008 I took the plunge and registered with the

APGA however after a small accident doing a Brazilian Ju Jitsu

class I have been out of action since last week where I played a

Pro-Am which (of course) we won by 24 shots.
This week I will be playing the Victorian PGA Championship which

will be my first major Golf tournament since turning pro in

November last year, so keep your eye on my blog for results!

Nick,

I see now that you've deleted your Myspace, Facebook, blogs and so on. I was really hoping it was all a misunderstanding, and I even gave you the benefit of the doubt when you said you had nothing to hide.

Fortunately, I took the time to save a ton of screenshots and Favorited links to a healthy number of your contacts on the various networking sites you deleted, just in case. I also spent a good deal of time perserving some things from Google's cache this evening. If you're under the impression that your anonymity is safe, you're very mistaken. I'm sure you know that you have an assload of personal and professional info online.

I'm asking you to immediately refund all of the buyers here in the thread and we can call it a day and sweep this under the rug. You seem like a reasonably intelligent guy and I doubt your reputation is worth a couple thousand bucks. You're being offered a pretty reasonable out here and I hope you consider it - you probably haven't had a chance to spend the money yet. I can understand if you've fallen on rough times or something I but I don't think this is the way you want to go.

And so you know I'm serious about this:

If the $496 I am owed is returned to my FT account CWsports ASAP then everything will be forgiven. However, if the money doesn't show up in my account within 24 hours then I will be contacting the appropriate authorities and taking immediate legal action (and yes, I do have contacts in Australia and the UK as I've had many business dealings overseas). And please don't think that I am not being serious as I was once ripped off for about $2000 on eBay and the guy used to be a CA deputy and he ended up going to prison for 5 years for ripping me and a bunch of other buyers off.

Considering his situation at FTP, I doubt a refund to your FTP account is possible. -Gonso
