Told me he plays like upto 25/50 online...while sitting down playin 2/3 live...

I asked him why he doesnt go up and play 2/5 or 5/10 with me live, and he said and i quote "i can make a better hourly at the 2/3 ($200 buyin) then i can online at 5/10".

Im like...right.....

i had 10% of this guy in this year's aussie millions main event, he wrote a TR of how he busted out, but now i'm wondering if he actually played at all or just ran off with my 1k. Is there anyway to see the full list of aussie millions entrants for this year? A quick google search didn't help me.

Given that he plays very low stakes and loses at them, and is busto in general, my guess would be that he's never once played a 10k event in his life (or anything near it). Not sure why you'd stake someone like this for a k, every verifiable clue in the world I've seen points to this guy sucking at poker.

yeah it was a while back, and i'd seen a big sample of stats of him beating 2/4 well over a decent sample(in retrospect they probably were not his stats), plus he lived in the same city as me and i knew his full name, and he offered to meet up with me at crown casino and he had a lot of posts and seemed reputable.

Of course i feel like an idiot now, but his TR made it seem that he definitely played the event, or is a very creative liar. Here's a link to his TR:

Even though he didn't likely play the Aussie Millions, those chip counts are only notable players. They have about 350 players listed for all 3 day 1's where 681 players were in the tournament, so that doesn't mean he didn't play.

Shame 2+2 cant organise a $2 tourny where the top 5 get say a book from the store.....maybe colin would front 5 of his sng strategy books, signed.
The proceeds from the tourny could be split between the 3 who lost money.

I know its not 2+2's fault or responsibility but i would imagine someone like colin wouldnt miss 5 book sales with the added wow factor of signing them.

If something like this was organised i would certainly play, knowing the proceeds were going someway to paying back what the 3 guys lost and i stood a chance of winning a signed book.
