I work in the poker app world and partner with a multitude of clubs all over the world. I have been fortunate to work with great club owners until now. Unfortunately, Jody Wheeler, from McKinney, TX, and owner of FTN Poker in the Honest Guys union, appears to have spent all of the money he owes me. I cannot say for certain whether or not he has spent it, but I can say for certain he is not paying it to me.

Of course I would never make such an accusation without a thorough and detail-filled accounting of the issue. I have prepared all evidence for anyone who wishes to view it. It can be found at the link at the bottom of this post. There are spreadsheets, transaction logs, screenshots, chat transcripts, and a chronology.

My main purpose for posting, however, is to warn others of the risks involved when working with Jody or FTN or Honest Guys union in PPPoker.

I invite Jody to post here to defend himself or point out any inaccuracies with the information I have published.

I did not click the link, but I did appreciate the name "Honest Guys union," because anyone who picks that should be trusted without concern. Kind of like the Super Friends.

Dare I suggest this app needs an offshore company in Costa Rica or khanawake that accepts deposits and withdrawals and has a brand name.

This whole find a trusty agent is the biggest gamble in histories of gambles.

This app turns small time poker players into agents who basically have to manage a small business.

Yes, it sometimes is. And for the reason you indicate. Far too many people out there who are shady and/or not equipped to manage a business are being sent a lot of other people's money.

The suggestion of an offshore bank, however, is outside the entire concept of the poker apps, which are designed to be only play money apps. The app developer does not ever receive or hold gambling funds.

Ya It does go against the apps design... and yes it’s deisgned for play money.

But this is just a ticking time bomb.

I had money on FTN and it was paid out after I messaged my agent (which I did right after seeing this thread). Sucks. Hope this all get resolved quickly.

Sorry this happened to you. It only takes one idiot to ruin something good for all of us. Hope you get paid and hope Jody Wheeler get what is coming to him.

Update on Jody Wheeler - The former owner of FTN poker club owes more than $350K and has bankrupted FTN, which has officially closed. I feel badly for all of Jody's victims, but at this point it's time for closure and to move on.

There have been at least a few of these PPPoker clubs that have screwed people out of large sums of money right? I recall a previous thread in NVG.

We sang a lot of songs about Jody/Jodi when I was in the Army. None of them was ever good.
