I watched the full video Fernando released before finding this thread. I checked Doug's Twitter to see if he had responded at which point I saw he linked this article a few days ago.
Here's what I found interesting about Fernando's side of the story. According to Fernando's account Doug reached out to him offering the opportunity to build Upswing's PLO course for the later agreed upon price of 25% of course sales. Fernando finds out that Joey was originally going to do the course but is assured it will get worked out and Fernando won't be stepping on Joey's toes, so to speak, if he joins Upswing under contract. Once the course is complete and ready for launch Joey is immediately given an affiliate deal for 25% of any sales he converts. Fernando's then finds out his 25% is calculated AFTER affiliate sales are paid. If this is true they basically sidelined Joey, let Fernando build the course and then paid Joey a higher rate on his referrals than Fernando who created all the content.

would love to hear Doug's response to that. shady business dealings if doug didn't make that clear while drawing up the contract.

I'll go check it out. Regardless the only people who know the truth are those directly involved. Even by Fernando's own account it sounds like he signed the initial contract without being comfortable with the terms or fully understanding it.
