a guy bought 2%, confirmed by text, and now hasn't paid me. i've waited for him to deposit into my paypal and he hasn't done it. i actually blocked him from my phone and erased our texts (bye bye proof) when he ignored my last text...basically just wanted to end the matter and not waste my time pestering a guy for $270. my question...am i obligated to give a damn?

this summer was the first time i ever sold action, not sure if i have some obligation to warn others about him, although, like i said, i no longer have proof and i don't even have his last name lol. this guy was also very happy that he bought action from someone who finished in the top 29 of the ME(not hard to figure that one out lol)...he can afford to give me my 2 weeks of grocery money.

couldn't find a general thread about free rollers/scammers so i was hoping someone could offer a little info: if there was more money involved (and I saved the texts) would it be standard practice to contact the other player and let them know i hadn't got paid? i'm the sort of person who, if i saw a waitress spit in my soup i wouldn't even make a big deal about it, just tell the manager that the soup was no good lol. anyway, this matter is over and i've done nothing to stop the soup spitters of this world

Was his name Fred? Cause I heard most Freds are jerk offs.

BTW great job making a money deal with someone and not even knowing their last name. Thats about as smart as drinking out of a toilet in Africa.

I'm confused as to why you'd block his number, seems like it would be the other way around. He shouldn't of been able to freeroll you regardless though beings as you wouldn't be obligated to pay him out if you hadn't receive funds prior to start of tournament.

Were you going to pay the guy if you cashed even though you didnt get any money from him? Something about you makes me think the answer is yes.

I worked for a start up with the CEO being named Fred and you couldn't be more spot on.

You didn't get freerolled. You allowed this individual to freeroll you.

If money is not received by the time the tournament starts, cancel the action.

Easy game.

Cliffs : - OP sells @ 1.35
- OP gets scammed
- OP is probably rich since he "doesn't wanna lose time for 270$"

I'm confused.

Have you paid him his cut already?
If so, why are you going on about 2 weeks of grocery money? Didn't you just take the $270 off the payout?
If not, your extra 2% is worth more than 2 weeks groceries.

Why don't you post whatever info you have about the guy, little as though it may be, here. Name, 2p2 name(?), phone #, whatever.
Baffles me when people post about being scammed, under the pretense of wanting to warn others about the guy, and then don't bother to actually out him. What's the point of this thread?

If I'm reading it right, the guy who started this thread sold action to a guy who didn't give him the money. The guy also bought action from another guy who was not the guy who started this thread. The guy then cashed the ME finishing in the top 29. He now wants to know if he should tell the guy about him before the guy pays him his share of the action he bought.

I don't know how it could be any more clear.

It could be a lot clearer.

Before McDonalds took over the world and before BK bought most of their restaurants, Wimpy were the biggest burger chain in the UK.

PeteBlow - Yeah, I was actually agreeing with you. It took me a few times to read it thanks to OP's inability to use pronouns correctly. Hence my post. Wasn't meant as a dig to you.
