I disagree. People who steal money after its loaned to them are scumbags and a major detriment to the poker community. Since poker is now largely an online activity, it is harder to physically retaliate against thieves. Not to mention all poker forums expressly discourage physical retaliation. So what is the guy supposed to do? This thread will never help him get his money back, and it is barely a punishment to neverwin to damage his reputation ever so slightly like this thread does, but rollers should be punished and discouraged in any way possible.

He is not spamming the forum. He's not being creative like Admo and giving neverwin his own "is a thief" domain either, but I don't think he is wrong to post this. It is slightly different than the last thread, in that he had three people try to approach neverwin in real life to retrieve his money since then.

Set up a website like the 2+2er did when cornel fiji owed him money. Spread the word about his debt. If you need some help by setting up the site with search engine optimization PM me. It is possible to push your site under the 10 first results when someone googles his name.

well, to be honest microbob, you can't blame the guy for trying. With 2p2 it always seems to be quite the flip wether a proposed plan pans out or not. Basically it mostly comes down to the first 30 replies to your post. If they are negative, you can kiss it goodbye and expect to be laughed away. If they are positive, preferrably with 1 or 2 highprofile poster giving it a thumbs up, a plan picks up momentum, people jump on the wagon and its get the possibility of becoming an avalanche.

In five years i have tried looking for a different red thread that decides wether a plan is destined to work or not work in this place. My conclusion: there isn't any. The red thread should be intelligence....but it isn't, mob-mentality cares **** about that

personally, i agree with you. With the little meat that goes around these days in the high-stakes limit games, it is far from reasonable to expect players to give up on the crums they can get. That doesn't make them egotistical bad men, that just makes them soloist survivors in a soloist game. You can't expect them bending backwards to help a guy that put out a loan on the wrong terms.

Very sad how people who come into a lot of money turn into bs drugs in their lives. Some guy who got to bang a few decent girls in the poker industry yet their life sucks so bad they turn to hardcore drugs.

Neverwin was a massive winner in that $100/$200 game on stars years ago crushing them games on a level nobody was on there at that time yet he falls off that much since with life? So sad

i want to tell you a few things. first of all this wasnt exactly my idea, someone told me about hoss and said he tried a similiar thing a few years ago when neverwin owed him money and wasnt paying him back and it worked because he didnt get any action anymore. so i thought this might work again. furthermore im really convinced that the pokerplayers should work together and show scum that it will not be accepted, not even tolerated among us.

of course i dont expect you to quit good tables he happens to be in. but you could at least always berate him and say he is a douche and that he should pay back his debt to me. as long as its always on his mind he cant ignore it forever. he will eventually pay me just for the sake of getting rid of all the trashtalking.

you should also never ever let him play HU vs a fish or bad player of course. i think just by spreading the word and always confronting him with what he did to me and that it sucks you do all i can hope for.

maybe it was a little bit naive to believe that a lot of people would help me just for the sake of the integrity of the community.

2 or 3 years ago I played with him in the 1/2 game on stars and he was saying in the chat that he won 1.4 million in 2004 and 1.6 million in 2005 (mainly UB).
