Urgent Notice Regarding Jay "threebarrels" and Dan "depechebkn"

On January 2 2018, I initiated a trade for 100k btc with Jay at $15,022 BTC. To date, Jay has been extremely hard to be in touch with and has only completed 50% of the trade through his friend Dan. Dan is refusing to give me Jays contact number to complete the other portion of the trade and says "I let him know to contact you", which has still not happened in some time. Dan has essentially been my point of contact to Jay this entire time.

This is just a warning, as it seems very fishy its been 6 months and this trade is still not complete. Not saying he is 100% scamming, but the lack of effort to complete this has gotten out of control.

Proceed with caution with any trades to either I would say until this is cleared up.

Excuse me, you entered into a trade for 100,000 btc with an unreachable third party, with no written terms, no escrow etc ?

To put this into perspective, that is $1,500,000,000 USD, of which you've collected $750,000,000 USD over the ensuing 6 months and you are posting in NVG as your route to collect the balance ?

Am I missing something here, OP ?

I can think of some professionals in the field who can handle this transaction going forward if I understand your predicament and if you can withstand source of funds due diligence scrutiny for how you got that 100,000 BTC.

Potential Scam involving Jay "threebarrels" and Dan "depechebkn"

On January 1 Jay says “hey, ill have the cash in florida on the 7th. that work for you? between 50 and 100 and we can prob lock something in today/tom once I figure out the exact #”

On January 2 Jay says” either me or someone else will be in Mia next week, ill do 100k”



On January 2 Jay says”I'm not anal about price. we can just lock in whatever bitstmap is at say 3:50 EST so whatever it is in 2min”

We book price at $15021

He asks if he wants me to get Dan or RBN to hard vouch, I say I kinda know Dan ( I will need to check HS chat to see if he did hard vouch-unsure at moment)

January 13 Jay says:

January 14 Jay says my friend can pick up 20k from dan if hes around, my friend was unable to get it that day.

January 17 Jay says my friend can pick up 50k from Dan that day but my friend had a flight so he couldnt get it.

January 18 I asked if he can drop off in Miami to another friend, he asks for address, and I give it and he goes silent.
On Feb 1 I follow up and he says just message dan and deal with him, I say ok I have somebody there that can pick it up but Jay says Dan only has 50, not the full 100. I asked where the other 50 will come from and Jay says” we’ll do half for now and he has to figure out the other half fo rme”



Feb 3, first 50k is complete with Dan.

I request not to deal with Dan again because girl that picked it up said he was borderline insane. Jay said he would try and arrange $ in LA.
Feb 15 I said im going to LA in a few days and could receieve there
Feb 18-Jay says easier if I just deal with Dan.
I respond if Dan wants to drive and drop to miami that would be fine.
Feb 25 Jay says he is seeing if he can have somebody meet in LA/LV and asks about other cities I can recieve in.
Feb 28 I need to follow up again, and says he didnt forget but still easiest if I deal with Dan.
I give in and say fine Il have somebody meet him tomorrow, and Jay says he still needs to send the money. I say okay and ask when it will be ready and he says he needs to check with Dan.

March 1 i ask what did dan say..he says hes good for me to pick up next week.
March 5 I say il have girl pick up that day at 530 pm, jay ray responds the next day that he will wire the money the next day.
March 9 I ask if money is sent and he said yes dan should have it.
I check with dan and he says hes out of town until next week, and he can meet when he gets back.
March 20 Dan says I never messaged him and says i have 2 days to get the money because he is leaving town for 2 weeks, I had nobody that could meet him.
April 8 I ask if hes back and if he can meet the next day
April 9 Dan says let me confirm with jay that he can meet at TD Bank...NEVER RESPONDED BACK
May 18th I remind him we still need to complete trade because Jay said to deal with Dan, Dan gets angry and says I was just doing him a favor and that I need to deal with Jay. I ask him to contact Jay and have him respond to me, he says ok I will contact him for you

June 3 Contact is made with Jay and Dan...Jay says too much time has gone by to complete the trade and refuses to complete trade. Dan says don’t contact him about the trade.

Still 50k owed to me….


Cliffs:

Initiated 100k BTC trade (6.656) for $ in Vegas/Fl/LA with Jay on January 2. I am located in Vegas so I tell him I need to have friend meet in florida when $ is ready to be picked up. Jay says he doesnt have full 100k multiple times and says he can only get me 20k, then changes it to 50k. Says we will need to figure out the rest later. First part of the trade is completed on Feb 3. Multiple attempts after to pick up money from his Friend Dan were made and there was always a change of story that occured or one person had to confirm with another to make sure it was ready.

June 3 50k is still owed to me. Btc has lost half its value and now Jay is saying he is not paying because its been to long since the trade initiated.

Gave Jay 2 options: Pay the remaining 50k in 5 days, or send me the BTC difference in price

*** Update: "Jay and Dan have both communicated with me that I will receive the full 50k by Tuesday afternoon in Florida. I will update everything upon that happening. "

Anyways op I hope they make it right, I've traded with Dan several times with much smaller amounts than yours but they always went smooth.
