UUmm i dont agree completely with your range , he can have some busted QJ or T9...and if you think he calls with A8 why not with a better hand like baby Ace (A2-A5)?

You all say we should c/c depending on size but then...are we not allowing villain to set the prize for the showdown that he wants? My thought was "i am not going to pay more than 1/3 to see a showdown because perhaps i am good like 25% of the time" but if i check he can bluff me with far a bigger bet n0?
So when he raises i know i am beaten and it "only" cost me that 1/3 bet....i suppose that you could say that if i fold i win that 1/3 too lol
