This appears to be a crying fold Folding AKs is always heartbreaking but I don't see enough hands we beat. Alhtough you block Ax combos, oppo on SB is tight-passive, so every time he shows strenght is likely to have a strong hand. His action is compatible with two pairs or better. Sometimes he will have AQ, but not enough to justify the call in my opinion.

Pretty easy fold to flop raise. Against this type of V ( loose passive) you have to bet/fold a lot. They always and only raise with 2p or better. Don't pay them off

I would flat call with AKs with backdoor FD

I see the argument for folding on the turn... what do others think about folding on the flop?

Folding on the flop is really hard.

I would call (as you did) and see what turn brings, hoping for a check/check if my top pair does not improve.

He played that so aggro I show respect and fold.

You can't fold the flop in case he's making a move. But when he follows with the turn bet you can safely assume you're up against AJ/A9.
