Upswing or because I switched sites? Upswing or because I switched sites?

I've been playing small stakes mtts on stars for about 5 years as a break even player, Ive had a big score here and there but I could never really build a big roll. I started really grinding to build a roll on stars about 18 months ago but I jsut seem to min cash so often and my deep runs just brick at the FT bubble. I think it was the sheer size of the tourneys, I couldnt play enough to beat the variance and various other factors like tiredness and time management for example effected my play in deep runs. So about 6 weeks ago I moved to unibet and wow. You know when people say sites are soft... I've had a really good run since I switched, running 35euros upto 429 (currently). I know over 6 weeks the sample size is absolutely tiny so its probably hard to tell anything yet but I dont know if this run is due to the softer games, the change in structure of games, or just a dose of run good which is gonna end soon.

On stars I was playing the micro stake tourneys with 1000+ entries and big payouts whereas on unibet the amount of entries has varied from 12-175, with most around around 20-60. I started playing the 1 and 2 euro freezeouts and R+As and then a 5 euro buy in occasionally once I reached 150 euros. I know I'm massively underolled but the games seem soft enough to try (they have very few nano stake games).
I have played 339 tourneys, cashed in 105 and final tabled 29. These results just seem crazy so I just wanted to see what people thought of this. Is this just run good that will end or can I get excited?

Some of it might be due to a good run but the sites are very different. I've had very limited success on Stars in both STTs and MTTs, but on 888 Poker I've been beating the STTs and have 1st and 2nd place tourney finishes under my belt (may not sound like much but I'm a recreational player). The play on 888 is noticeably more passive than on Stars.

That's what I wanted to hear. I wasn't sure if an upswing in results this big could be due to anything other than variance but I'm starting to think it really is just that soft. I've grinded STTs on stars before too, with generally good results but, again, the STTs on Unibet are just so much softer, I must cash in nearly 50%. I've always ran horribly on 888 despite the noticably passive player pool.
