To make the data table for the ranges, I had to fix a range in pokerstove, then type in all 169 hand combos, click calculate, then copy and paste into the spreadsheet. So the range data is static. If only I had the source code to pokerstove.....
But anyway, I have found that some suggested ranges are soooo close to one of the ranges in the spreadsheet that it is "close enough" and a good estimate.
Try taking the range you have above and comparing it to a close range (the 7.5% looks right) in the spreadsheet. Check the equity of like 10 hands and see how close it really is. I think you will be surprised. (Try like TT AQs 89s KQo 55 QQ A8s ATo...)
So really, when you are selecting a range, you are ESTIMATING. So maybe the range you are thinking isn't on the spreadsheet, so get one that looks close, and realize that the "fringe" +cEV hands could be affected by the fact that they are not against the exact range.
