I think this is one of the best threads at 2+2.

Does the Buy-In affect this pushbot chart?

Nope, math is math, whether it is a $4/180 or a $109FO

Now I do suspect that each will have quite different calling ranges....

The links on the first page seem not working. JITxpert can you confirm it please?

(or anyone who already have the files, could be so kind to re-post them somewhere??)

Thank you in advance

Yikes!

This appears to be a mediafire issue, and hopefully when their site is back up this will still be there. But if it doesn't work by tomorrow I will reup them somewhere and have the mods fix the front page...

hey JIT, great job on the charts !
i do have 1 question though: why arent the resteal sheets working on opening ranges?
seems much easier than postin villain's calling range and the % of the time he folds, don't you think?

Tinkering around with the spreadsheet, great stuff as what everyone's said in the thread. Just wondering when I adjust the ROI filter, and say make it to 3.0% for red cells, the handcharts don't change colors. I'm running excel 2007, do I need to adjust some macros?

You are the second person to notice this, and it appears to be your computer/excel settings. What worked for the other person was

Quote:
minimizing excel to the taskbar after i change the value of green cells, then reopen it and then suddenly the colors are updated.
Excel does have a recalculate function, I think it is F9. You can try that as well. Also, make sure your options for automatic recalculating are set. From the pull down menu...

Tools > Options > Calculation > Click the "Automatic" Button

Last edited by JITxpert; 09-09-2010 at 04:08 PM. Reason: This "selective recalculating" happened to someone at work, and IS reloaded their whole operating system...

hey JITexpert,

thank you very much for putting this up !!! I have been working on sth. similar but it was still far from this!

however, i got a question. hopefully this hasnt already been answered for several times.... i also posted it in the "revised pushbot thread".

I have tried to compare the wiz ranges vs the pushbot chart... I just tried one example but I seem to misinterpret something here as I get different ranges (WIZ: 8.0 vs BOT: 10.9)... is it inaccuracy of the sheet or did i type in any wrong numbers in the sheet/wiz? do you know how this comes?

thanks a lot for any reply !

How large is the discrepancy between wiz and bot? if you fill in the numbers in wiz, will you get exactly the same result as in the sheet?

Wiz is always more correct, because if you put in a 15% calling range, the spreadsheet will only assume one caller, as wiz will account for the times when two (or more) villains have a top 15% hand and both call.

As for the pictures above, one of two things, either it is in cEV mode and accounting for overcallers (most likely), or you are in $EV mode.
