$8 buy in, $1.5k prize pool. Top 15 cash. 10% ante in both hands.

Hand 1. We are 26th out of 29 with 6 BB in CO and it's folded to villain in HJ who shoves 10 BB. We have A4s. Hero?

Hand 2. 7 handed, hero is 27/29 with 7.5 BB. UTG +1 limps and it's folded to us in SB with K4o. Hero?

1- Close but I think it's a fold, we still have some FE on open shoves and this is really not a great spot. Tough to ask for a great spot with 6BB though, call is probably not atrocious.

2- If he limps a lot limp as well, if you think his range is tight and he has a lot of traps then fold. I don't think we get to shove, ever. We have 0 FE and not the best hand often enough whatever his range might be.

Thanks! When do we lose fold equity? Less than 10 BB?

Somewhere between 5-7 BB is the limit, at some point BB is calling with most hands because of antes/odds.

Thanks! These tournaments are always 10% ante, which I believe is slightly below average, so those numbers are probably on point for my games.

Fold both hands and don't think about it too much.

Hand 1, you want to be the pusher not the caller with weak Axs or Axo
Hand 2 you have 0 FE and vs a UTG limping range you are way behind
