Hi guys

Villain is 18/15 in 130 hands. Never limps in MP, first time in about 40 hands sample. Very suspicious...

Whatīs the best play PREFLOP with this effective stack size? I was doubting between just shoving and a normal iso and just play postflop

Two things:
First, villain is actually 2b, not limping.
Second, you didn't even assign a range for V...

As played, you 3bet really big vs a 18/15 guy and let him play near perfect. He will fold his.bottom range and raise the rest and you are incentivized to call.because of the price.
This tells me, that you don't pay enough attention at the table to the most important variables preflop

Vs range
SPR
Stack sizes
Sizing
Player profile (weak, tag, rock, passive of whatever you classify your villains)

More study and less spewing.

Yeah, 3b is way too big. Go like 400. Usually you wanna 3b a 2bb raise to around 5.5-7 and with the flatter we can go bigger kinda. Basically if we wanna 3b/c we don't wanna have them polarized, we want them to have the thought we can fold.
