That's basically a snapcall. He's taking this line w every 9x and other random stuff.

As played, I think the better line is raise big on the turn. V is leading with some weak Jx, 9x and straight draws on the flop. After checking the turn (consider the 1bb bet on turn as a check) you need to go big here like 10bb , setting up stacks for river to valuebet or bluff or even check back sometimes.
Flat calling turn is the mistake. You line get exposed to aggro villains bluffing you out the hand

But seriously, fold pre!

I would normally fold pre there, maybe was 1 or 2 disconnected.

Seems like a trivial call but I have paid off this line in cash games a few times to my cost.
